At the end of the classes he would line on the stage the drums he had taken with him on the plane, for us to buy. I still have mine, a dunum, one double-sided kinkeni, a regular djembe and a smaller one, all beautiful and sounding as good after 20+ years. And a CD: "Dengo" (1995).

I believe they are speaking Bamana/Bambara & they are singing about a woman named Sunu who danced to the rhythm Gui. She was the best dancer to this rhythm so she would always be called out to dance when they played it.
