Jazz trumpet lesson - 1 6 2 5 chord progression jazz
In this video I talk about the different practice methods I have used to help give me the best possible chance of hearing melodic runs on 1-6-2-5 chord progressions in jazz, using well trodden jazz vocabulary without trying to remember a whole bunch of licks!
I hope you find it useful.

Thanks for liking and subbing guys!
I have been working on this tune for several years - this gives a new perspective that can incorporate 😊
Gonna do a whole lesson on rhythm changes soon Joe.
THIS! Is how you learn jazz!
It is the best way for me but we are all different. I think many online teachers teach the way they were taught with little thought as to how much they are actually doing with each activity. This way (for me) breaks it down into more easy digestible chunks.
Exceptionally well broken down to make it accessible to all levels. Also, with the backing track you can concentrate solely on the line that you want to work at and there is plenty of scope for exploration within these 4 chords and with the lines that have already been provided in the pdf copy which is well worth downloading.
Thanks Alan, appreciate your comment.
