Happy Halloween guys, I've really been enjoying your commentaries, especially throughout October. Did you also know they did try to get Paul Rudd to play Tommy Doyle in this movie but he couldn't do it because he was filming Ghostbusters: Afterlife. How different would that have been, lol?
It probably would have been worse, if that's possible. He is from a different timeline, so it would have muddied the waters even more. And because he's so likeable as a person, you would have disliked Tommy's actions even more than you already do now
@@elginfilmguy Agreed, he would have been so out of place, I picture him in the role and it would have been such a bad fit. I think it was more fan service and seemed better on paper because of his star power than what the final product would have been if he had been able to do it.
I know I’m late but regarding the mask I think Michael just feels comfortable in the mask. In the 1978 version when Michael tries to choke Laurie and she pulls the mask off he stops attacking just to put the mask back on. In kills when attacking Lindsay she pulls his mask off which makes him let her go. So idk maybe it’s something to his attachment with the mask.
This is the most logical explanation I've heard yet. Where were you when they were writing this garbage. Haha. Thanks for listening and offering a decent theory
So I've officially lost my mind lol! Since this movie came out I thought the crazy loon being chased in The Hospital was Loomis - lol! Holy mother of Mary! Only a film this bad could force me to think this way. *Christ I've even recorded and released a commentary with me ranting about Loomis.... glorious lol* Anyway great commentary guys.
It's very cathartic listening back to these rant-heavy commentaries for me. Couldn't tell you how much I ran the My Bloody Valentine 3D commentary into the ground. Thanks for hanging around!
@@ravensfilm Do you know what guys....I literally can't be bothered with Halloween Ends. I'm off work until Saturday so have planned a few commentaries this week. Literally this Friday could involve me watching The Rings of Power final episode and Halloween Ends....what a sh**show! *Time is way too precious right now*
Great point about Marilyn Chambers Nick I didn't even think about that why was she in Haddonfield she was at Smiths groove she doesn't know those people

Not the worst Halloween movie but goddamn was it a mess. Same could be said for the whole trilogy tbh.
Great commentary guys it seems like this was a combination of Halloween 2 and Halloween 4 the town mob stuff
