R1/RB is overpowered agains the CPU. Also, I tend to use down+up on right stick a lot since it is a quick dribble. Do you guys have any other useful tips for starters like me?
Hold Right analogue up and down to rollover the ball, super quick and easy, this years fake shot/cross

Anyone think this was unnecessary? Personally felt fifa 23 was perfect especially for dribbling. If they had just kept the same game last year and maybe added a few things to career mode and a few different online modes I wouldv be v happy. Everytime they change the gameplay. Your bound to eventually break something that is completely fine.
Anyhow used to love the 11 v 11 mode in fifa 12 or 13 where you could play with real clubs online 11 v 11. You would pick your player, everyone would rush for ronaldo if real madrid were selected. Best mode ever.
That controlled sprint shit had made me go nuts on my opponents, thanks for teaching that shit😂

Can I just ask, when I play against opponents, they seem to hold off my players effortlessly using controlled dribbling. My question is do they use L2 with R1 or is a custom tactic that allows that. Would really appreciate feedback thanks.
Messi is the only player in real life who can do this & in FIFA 14 we were able to do this same thing with him
You need a advance defending tutorial. The seal put mechanical is funny.

Why does using press after possession loss make you a rat?
I use the r1 press tapping it, pull in 3 players, save fatigue, and keep balance
People think I have the press turned on but don't, makes me laugh when they msg
@liamjohnson7887 there is nothing wrong with it, it's a mechanic in the game you are allowed to use it plus real teams use it too like Liverpool City Newcastle etc etc, so use it your not a rat but R1 press is better you control it

It's somewhere in the settings of FC 24, I think under visuals, pretty down low. There you can decide to include a controller overlay.

Really good vid! I have a question can you help my player keeps doing fakes sometimes when I try to pass and shoot (and I’m not trying to do fake shots/passes) do you know why?
Make sure you are not pressing L2 button at the same Shoot button twice

You should do a tutorial or guide on the best way to lerm how to use the radar please.I’ve asked many pros and the only answer they give is. Oh I use it all the time but when is all the time?? Cause we know our human eye focuses on 1 thing at a tiene. Like our nose we can see it but only when we want to. With the radar how can I know when I should look at it
Fair question. Actually we have quite a few lessons at THE GUIDE+ which have examples from games at which I had an eye tracker device connected. So this would be really helpful to understand when I look at the radar.
Coming back to your question: it's a good idea, but not something that we will prioritize for the next week. But could be something for the later stages of FC 24.

Try co-op, height 18-20, zoom 0 and reduce far side view to 0(from 10).
Most of the clips are on co-op. Right now I play on co-op, height 0, zoom 10.

Once you get it though it's amazing. I get a lot of enjoyment just playing a good defensive game and shutting people down. Its satisfying. One thing that blew my mind was how different the game plays using different camera types. I can defend at a crazy level using tele or tele broadcast but struggle with attacking. On coop I can attack a lot easier and struggle with defending a bit. So I like tele broadcast at a height if 12 and 0 zoom

It's ridiculous how easy it is to pull off and how hard it is to defend this. All you need is a strong dribbling player and a bit of space. 80% of the time it's a goal. You hold R1, walk past the entire line of defense or turn left and right until you got an opportunity to shoot while noone can seperate you from the ball. And if you somehow manage to do something, the ball jumps straight to another opponent and the shit begins all over. People who are defending the system are just straight up donuts.

I saw some cross to the back post around 7:12, is it over powered in the game cause those are my type of crosses and how do I pull it off

Just a normal cross, yes. They tend to work quite well at the beginning. Just make sure to power them up enough. I actually play the cross assistance on "assisted", so no special setting either.
I think the ones who kept complaining including myself about the gameplay and dribbling being so silky and unrealistic totally got a slap in the face by this. *sigh*

Man to be fair the game started out pretty solid last week but since yesterday gameplay has gone downhill. Ghost players (literally invisible opp players that you can’t see), fk outside the box that become pk’s, slower pace, yesterday I had to reset the game 3x just freezing on the menus

Opponents you shown in the tutorial are bad in defending giving more space to you but in real time opponents are press like anything like using AI to keep on press. It’s a good dribbling technique but we can’t do how you show in this video as easy😂😂
In div 5 they using it with even GK. I hope they patch this shite. Next gen game has been flawed since the launched.
