There is a reason why Nitin scored 164. He was technically way better than other batsmen on his team. His back and across movement let him play the ball on merit instead of committing on the front foot like his teammates. It also helped him play many sweep shots. This is most probably a bunch of grown-up friends playing cricket hence it's not fair to judge them by professional standards but the bowling and fielding could have been better. But this happens as ppl get older and are not always playing the game. The wicket-keeper's camera view made me feel like I was part of the match.
The opener in blacks with the SS bat had a superb technique. He reminds me of Kohli. Nitin (007) was particularly fond of the sweep, I wonder why the captain had not placed a couple of fielders right at backward square leg and one finer. The fielder was way too square. Atleast out the doubt in his mind! The wicket actually missed 2 catches.
