My mom was diagnosed a month ago with cancer. She’s 83 and the oncologist told her to get her affairs in order. She wouldn’t have more that 6 months to a year. As soon as I got her home from the hospital I told her everything she was eating so was I. We’ve gone completely organic and are doing protein, healthy fats and lots of leafy green vegetables. We’ve also started a treatment called a Hocatt. It’s infrared sauna and ozone and a few other modalities. She will also be starting high dose vitamin C infusion and is taking lots of turmeric and ginger. With God’s blessing she will be here for at least 6 more years. For everyone battling cancer, I pray you find a way to beat it.

I have stage 4. I started about 9 months ago a keto/carnivore diet. I have another CT in 3 weeks. Last one 6 months ago showed a .5 cm loss in the largest tumor. I am hoping this one will be also good. My doc said last time was a error in reading. I found a medical center near me that has a Hyperbaric chamber. I may be able to get that also. One day at a time. My ketones has been pretty good now for the last couple months.

And cancer does not die easy. Weeks of vomiting and pain, then big improvements in stages until three years later I am completely symptom-free and have never been in better health at age 65 -- and I'm still doing keto! Thanks, Dr. Boz.

@@emmanuelking9988 No, my belief is that doctors are useful for young people until they learn the limits of the medical arts and commit to taking care of themselves. I had recurrent bleeding from my bowels -- bright red along with mucus -- for ten years, becoming more frequent, but no pain to speak of and I was too busy to worry about it much. Then in September 2018 my dentist told me to quit smoking my tobacco pipe, and after a week of eating as a substitute, I hit on keto as a solution to help becoming tobacco-free. Within a week of keto, my upper colon went into full revolt with excruciating pain and daily vomiting. I laid in bed for a week with a heating pad pressed into the pain, and after that it improved steadily but hurt a lot until one day three months later, I passed a handful of dead tissue like casings and felt immediately better -- incredible relief up to 80 percent all better. I took a photo. Then on and off mild discomfort now and then for the next several months, but not nearly as bad. I knew what it was -- the cancer was dying, and it didn't want to die easy. Stuck to keto religiously, testing with urine strips but just staying in low ketosis -- under 20 carbs a day but not stringent -- comfortable and easy, but certainly in ketosis. No extreme supplements or additives, just plain keto eating. Got steadily better until my health got really, really good in the Fall of 2020 and has stayed that way -- just perfect and wonderful, plenty of energy and stamina and concentration and great sleep. No, I don't do doctors because I believe we must learn our own bodies -- so many variables, emotions, attitudes, spiritual beliefs, varied food availability. I grow vegetables in greenhouses and ate my weight in kale before starting keto, but keto is the only way, nothing else comes close. I'm a true believer today. Dr. Boz was my guiding light -- I was so sick and she was so friendly that I could listen to her UA-cam videos and feel better. It made me laugh when she was hitting the scobie brew because I'm A.A. (34 years now) and cannot do the liquor relief I notice so many keto people doing! My theory is that we have for eons hunted meat and need to have energy and focus to go get more when our supply runs low, while precious grains are for feeding to chickens and cows. That's my theory, and I'm sticking to it. Thanks for the opportunity to share. Oh, also, I wore knee braces for 30 years -- football/housemaid's knees -- and within the first 10 weeks of keto, my knees completely healed and have stayed healed. That to me is such a miracle! Since my 20's, I haven't been able to walk without knee braces. It's astonishing to this day.

@@northamerican287 Cancer is not a "disease" but the result of healing that doesn't stop. In the 60's they tried to figure out how many different kinds of cancer there are, and discovered that every tissue has within it a "cancer" gene. During World War One, they found on autopsy that soldiers who had been exposed to mustard gas had 50% less lung cancer than those who hadn't breathed any mustard gas, and that's where they came up with mustard-based chemotherapy. The reason it works sometimes is that it shocks the system enough to "reset" the healing genes -- to re-injure them enough that they think it's the original injury that started the cancer in the first place and stop trying to heal. That's why taking a trip to Mexico for a miracle cure sometimes works -- the trip itself is so distressful that it works like chemo. Also, colds and flu viruses kill weakened cells, cleaning out all the pre-cancerous tissue, so are you surprised that the medical industry wants to eliminate cold and flu viruses so they can "treat" more cancer patients? Dr. Boz proves that cancer cells can be starved out with keto, but it takes time -- years even -- and so the solution is to concentrate on being healthy, not thinking of eradicating "disease." Make sense?

Thank you so much for taking the time to respond and answer my questions, truly appreciate it 🙏
I was absolutely blown away of your health healing story, it is truly amazing and very inspiring. I am of the same belief as you, where I 100% believe real & healthy foods can assist the body to heal itself and your story confirmed it! 🙌
I started Keto a year ago due to developing type 2 diabetes and Keto got me out of diabetic range but now I found I have a bone tumor (not sure if it's malignant yet)...can-cer or not, I want to treat the tumor naturally and reading your story just gave me so much HOPE and huge motivation to stick with Keto.
May I ask...what foods did you mainly eat on Keto? Did you consume dairy? Did you consume animal meats? What vegetables did you eat? Any specific teas 🍵? Did you consume Keto friendly sweeteners?
My apologies for all the questions...just want to learn what worked for you and perhaps it can help me, thank you very much in advance again 🙏

@@emmanuelking9988 Okay, here's a hint: cancer often begins with a crushing injury, often from our younger years, then it comes out later. When they clone animals, they bring a cell to the point of death and inject DNA into it -- so it replicates. The point of keto is to streamline our metabolism to the point of autophagy so the body feeds on our weak or damaged cells while we are feeding the healthy cells. It's not supposed to be painful at all after the cancer is consumed. Keto for me is easy now. It's very natural and logical. Big portions of fat -- sour cream, heavy cream, butter and lard -- but no seed oils, and I don't do olive oil, either. Just dairy and animal fats. I eat substantial portions of animal meat and eggs and fish, and I buy big sacks of raw almonds and eat a couple handfuls at at a time, until I'm satiated, sometimes with my meal. And I eat peanut butter. I make "crackerbread" by mixing a cup of coconut flour with a cup of brown flax meal with a third cup of peanut butter, mix in 2/3 cup of water and let it sit for an hour, press it into a cookie sheet with parchment paper and bake 12 minutes at 350 degrees. Cool on rack, cut into six squares and refrigerate. This can be toasted or eaten plain. I always bake a double recipe. I eat canned vegetables from the food banks that the Mormons give me. I eat all kinds of veggies, but I don't buy avocados because they're too expensive. Potatoes and squash and corn are too starchy, so just a little sometimes. I add collagen when I can. I drink coffee all day with half-n-half and heavy cream. I don't use any sweeteners any more. Hint: at first when the cancer was dying, anything helps -- chewing gum, electrolytes, sweeteners, anything to ease the suffering. But just stay in ketosis. Get urine strips and use them. But please don't suffer with this! Keto is a good thing, a natural state to be in. I don't think more than just a little bit into ketosis is helpful, like plants can't use more than a few hours of sun and use a limited amount of water, and babies only grow a certain amount each day, and we only sleep 8 hours, not 14. See that? Nature has limits, and it's a steady road, not a race. Get happy -- find something you like to do and do it. Nature is sensible and good. Oh, I also buy 55-pound sacks of powdered milk and make Bulgarian yogurt in a couple gallon plastic buckets sitting on a seed-sprouting mat, with them covered in a plastic tablecloth to keep in the heat. Takes 8 to 12 hours. I keep it in the fridge and hit it with a hand-held mixer for a great yogurt drink that I sip on all day. That's it. A simple protocol. Good luck to you, dear.

My father got blood cancer at the age of 81. I didn't know what to do at that time, because my father's position is already weak and hemoglobin often drops. And the food at the hospital was a rice, milk and sweet tea, I realized too late (carb & sugar). Even the anti-pain given was paracetamol which was included intravenously/not oral, I also learned this information too late if paracetamol given intravenously could increase blood sugar (except oral).

For years I wondered how we could encapsulate cancer and the two words that sprang to mind were environment and inflammation. Obviously we can improve our environment by avoiding harmful chemicals where possible, not smoking and being careful with alcohol. With regard to inflammation, I believe that cancer always finds its place in an enflamed area of the body and therefore keto with intermittent fasting will likely help to reduce inflammation in the body.
Keto may help from a preventative point of view, but prolonged fasting with intermittent fasting and OMAD keto is proving to be very successful in treating cancer.

Depending on the type of cancer it feeds on protein, fats or glucose. All cancers not being the same must be identified to target the fuel source that has to be eliminated in order to eliminate this cancer effectively. A ketogenic diet is a very effective treatment on cancers that feed on glucose however if the cancer feeds on another fuel source the Keto diet will not be successful. There is also the risk of a cancer that initially feeds off a specific fuel source that can mutate to feed on another fuel if the initial one is deprived. It's very complex but some people have been successful at fighting multiple cancers throughout the life for example Jane Mclelland. Her struggles and success is extremely worth reading in her book " How to Starve Cancer without Starving Yourself ".

    • @Pazybienaestacasa
      @Pazybienaestacasa 11 місяців тому +4

Your comment is interesting. I ve come across the same info about how each cancer can mutate and feed on other fuel sources... However i ve not yet found one serious study on how a cancer can feed on fat. I saw a study that a lot of medias took and repeated, about how prostate cancer feeds on fat, BUT reading the study, the fat they gave to the mice had sugar with it!!! so, that totally invalidates the result... Another point is that no matter what the cancer is, it will always feed on glucose. Always. Excess of proteins becomes glucose (gluconeogenesis)... so the only source of energy left for the body is fat...
I m not saying that ur comment is not right. I m thinking out loud and came to the conclusion that fat remains the only source of energy, a person with cancer can eat to limit the consequences... It s a keto diet with very very low carbs, low proteins, very high fat. A diet that is hard to sustain because most foods on the keto diet have proteins and fat together... fat only is a lot harder to consume.

I now understand that FASTING helps reducing my blood levels or glucose levels and that taking more insulin makes my diabetes worse. I done FASTING and it works.
But I have been listening to Dr. William Seyfried, and Dr. Li who talk about starving the cancer cells by removing sugar/glucose from the diet and lactic acid.
I tried explaining this to my breast cancer surgeon of this alternative method of Keto Diet and starving the cancer cell but she put me on Anastrozole or Anatrole 1mg. I stopped taking it because it was affecting my teeth and hip joints. Dr. Seyfried suggested medicate the Lactic Acid but didn't give the name of the drug for it. Do you know what that drug could be that won't bring on osteoporosis of the bones? Would love to hear your response - thank you for what you do. And I am 75.

I have stage 4 colorectal cancer and is also in the peritoneom. I had one round of chemo and it liked to killed me. I had surgery for an ostomy bag and am still having problems with that also. I refused more chemo because I have no one in my family that cares about me and are too busy. I have tremendous pain and cannot control it. It's painful to eat but I am starving. I now have no oncologist, no one who wants to help me, and have no one who cares. I have researched so many things in an attempt to bring many methods together. Of course, I am on a fixed income and alone. I do have hope. I have been given 6 months. I am trying to find a community and others to talk to. I pray for help and have given everything to God. I will not give up. That is too easy. I do not know what to do. My family makes me so sad.

Try keto diet along with water fasting 2-3 days every month.
That or a very strict and healthy diet full of organics including organic meats. Limit beef consumption and fishes for your protein intakes.
Drink plentiful of organic green teas(3-4 cups daily) 10-15 mins after each meal.
Water fast 2-3 days every month.
No sugar and no fruits with the exception of some very low sugar berries.
      A lot of exercises.
Do researches on how to do keto diet and fasting.
      Best of luck

Try fasting for 2.5 days before your chemotherapy +2.5 days after your chemo. This is what I do and it certainly has help to shrink the tumours and because you’ve got no food inside your body, the side-effects are less. Fortunately, I feel good during them five days

Hi dr. Boz , can’t consult my doctor , doesn’t have a clue about the keto diet , he says to cut out the fat and eat more carbs., to be healthy…. Lol..
Also I asked for an insulin test and he said that doesn’t tell you anything , asked him about a HOMA IR test , and he said he has never heard about it..
I have a question , do you think statin may cause cancer ? Because dr. Hyman says in a video that statin poisons your mitochondria..

That’s a longer conversation than YT..
the best answer I’ve seen work for situations like yours = gift your doctor ANYWAY YOU CAN. That sounds sell promoting .. but it’s been surprisingly beneficial.
Read the book yourself.. then pass the boo to your doctor. It surprisingly beneficial.
