3M Vinyl Adhesive that comes in spray cans would of made the job a lot easier. Also use a heat gun (or hair dryer) & roller to smooth out the bubbles. Congrats on getting back on the water!
A 3 inch thin putty knife ( round the edges and corners) use it to tuck the vinyl in under the wood , use a heat gun on low to warm the material and as it cools it stretches back tight. Congratulations on moving aboard ! The babies are beautiful and perfect even when they are fussing says this 72 year old grandfather. I would be frustrated with the engineer who rebuilt the engine and didn’t just do the turbo at the same time ? Now your waiting , I have done significant project engineering on 5 continents so feel your pain !

Your babies are so lucky to have 2 loving and caring parents like you two, I can tell it is genuine, not made up for the camera and also they are fortunate to be able to grow up sailing and on the water. My family lived on our boat in the summers in New England in teh 1960's (yes, I am that old) and it was incredible, your children,the twins will think the same when they are older. Carry on.

I wrote before ,but do again .your courage and ongoing work in living an unusual lifestyle ,that will offer all of you 4 ,special experiences and a truly lived family foundation together ( instead of many/most hours apart each day, due to outside work and other commitments) is wonderful . modern internet functions do offer amazing homeschooling and further education ,this coupled with all the experiences in smart cruising and functional family life together ,do offer exceptional education and character building experiences. there will be criticizing face expressions and comments, verbally into your face ,behind your back and in written form from others ,partly trying to manipulate your decision with fear of dangers ,but ,as former medical professional , common life dynamics on land are actually far more dangerous ,without families being aware, until it hits them . may you fully enjoy your wonderful journey of discovery together and just keep and nurture your common sense and even go beyond . enjoy and rejoice !

Not sure what is really happening so it must be magic. You've heard of FM a type of radio, well, this is also FM, but its a type of magic !

It's called a Headliner when you cover the ceiling on a boat.
In the US we call it the headliner similar to what one has in an automobile.
Some low voltage led light strips on the ceiling would take care of the dark issue when blocking the window to keep the heat out.
