If it’s fathomless, frothing brutality you’re after, check out the V1 Kraken over at Sweetwater 👉 imp.i114863.net/KrakenPedal Hypothetically though, who would win in a fight - the Victory Kraken or the Wampler Leviathan? Duke it out in the comments. 👇
Your comment got me thinking. How many versions of distortion pedal can be made? Imagine all the different ones on the market at any given time over the last 30-40 years. How many have come and gone relatively unnoticed? It would probably be an almost impossible task to try and catalog them.
There's the amplifier heads, the pedal board amplifiers, the pre-amp only boxes, and now the overdrives/distortions from those previous amps & preamps. The amplifiers and pre-amps have tubes in them and aren't meant to be used as "stomp boxes", but these pedals bearing the same names as the amps are just the stomp box versions.
I have the 2 channel kraken pedal. I use it to play live but i can understand for some that it takes a lot of place on your pedalboard. I play in a rock band and in a metal band. Gain channel one is amazing for my rock tunes and the second channel for metal. Or if i have a part in my metal band where i need some less distortion it's also a very handy. So instead of having several distortion pedals i can use that one. You can fine tune it a little more than this version in the video. If you want to have some more space than this one is the better choice. So sound wise you have more options on the 2 channel, the question is do you need it?
I really enjoy Nick’s reviews and playing! Pedal sounds great as well.

Just ordered more yesterday to help support great musicians and everyone at Sweetwater. Merry Christmas 🎄.
I've got a victory dutchess40 head.it will be buried with me and my silver sky .
How many versions of the same pedal can Victory make?

That pedal is awesome thanks Nick 🤘🎄🎶🍻
I want to hear this guy do some of his old band Grim Reaper's riffs on this pedal!!
Which is more practical,?... 250$ for this pedal or save up another 250 and just get the preamp 2 channel kraken pedal with 4 tubes in it....
