Outstanding! Slim, you go above and beyond with your videos. Gorgeous boondocking spot with beautiful views. Congrats on going electric with (in my opinion) the best E-bike out there. I gotta say, I was on the edge of my seat watching you climb that mountain with all of its loose rocks...but the view from the top was spectacular! The shots of the sky both day and night were incredible. That was a very impressive special effects light show displaying your initials. You seriously put a heck of a lot of work and talent into the making of your videos, and it shows. Thank you for sharing your amazing journey. Safe travels.
Love this video. I love Arizona! Breath taking views and skies. The rock climbing was awesome.
We are really enjoying your honest and well made videos - both trial and error moments and those mixed with adventures in natural beauty! We learn new things every time, as we are just now venturing out into the small trailer camping world. Thank you.
Boy great video, and you must be in outstanding shape to do that climb!
Wow, you’re really getting some nice camera shots. I’m so impressed that you found that cave looks like somebody might even consider living up in there. I don’t know. Certainly not me, but could be done fantastic presentation. I love the camera, angles and shots you provide.
My younger self would have loved camping in that cave for a season (would've packed out my rubbish too).
Thank you for a great video. I love watching your adventures from Wales UK.
I live in California… even in a secluded spot I would not dare drive off and leave a chair out side the camper! Lol
Loved the bike and views! I really like you have the drone to see the full view of the area… so pretty!
Thank you for filming and glad you’re now electric, hope to see more in later videos.
This has got to be the best video you've done so far. Loved every minute of it. Thank you for sharing.
Nice bike i hope you have plenty with it.
Loved your night shots and creation Slim!
like the new look
I twll you what slim its been a few years since youve been there. Wow such nostalgia. Slim in the desert is always a good thing. Only thing missing is the pool noodle 😂😂😂 but you got the bike. Ahhh wow no stopping slim now. Im glad you changed your views on drones. Some drones anyway. Great shots with the bike and drone. Awesome video slim
Add some FlatOut to the tubes of your ebike. FlatOut will try to plug any punctures.
You outdid yourself on the night skyscape at the end. WOW WOW WOW!
Awesome adventure, my friend, you’re awesome. Can’t believe he climbed that mountain camera drone, you make it look easy. Pismo, Paul.
Beautiful video. Thanks for sharing!
i loved the light show timelapse at the end!
I really like my Lectric bike with my DIY strap on grocery baskets. I really really need 20 inch inter tubes with the green slime sealant in the desert. No one sell them. Had them on my other bike with 26 inch wheels.
Excellent editing and great drone work.
Just something that concerns your safety. Have you notified anyone in advance where you are and what you will be doing in case you are injured while climbing around?
How’s is the trailer holding up?
As long as you see it, it's still in one piece!
As an avid mountain biker for over 30 years I will respectfully offer one piece of advice. There is no such thing as puncture proof tires so please add sealant to your tires and carry the necessary tools and tubes for a trail repair. There is nothing worse than getting stuck miles from your home base. Good luck and have fun!
Also: wear gloves.
FYI, Lectric adds tire sealant at the factory.
Good words
Gotta watch for goathead thorns in the dry country; they'll puncture anything.
He didn’t say puncture proof tires, he said ‘puncture resistant tires” and FYI there is a whole bunch of puncture resistant tires out there, I even have them in my motorcycle.🫡
"SP" - Indeed!
Your "follow me" drone was great to use with the bike.
@zendt66 I was wondering how he did that ...didn't know there was a follow me drone. Amazing technology.
How does he do that?
@@FluffyBunny-l9zhis drone has a "follow me" feature he can use as he's moving.
Amazing
Your videos are so captivating and authentic. Your drone shots, editing and general photography have greatly improved since your earlier videos. The alien looking imposed image was great! Safe and happy travels to you Slim. 💕
That campsite was stunning, the night sky was breathtaking, and the climb had me wondering if you were going to bump into Foresty Forest in that magical cave. Thank you for all the work you do to give us these gorgeous videos!
Well done, Slim. Lot's of colorful content. I couldn't help but think of your obituary when climbing alone over that rough terrain. I sure hope you have some backup, redundancy in case of a broken ankle or such. That would make a good portion of a future video, how I protect myself in the outback. Anyway, we don't want to lose you, so be extra careful.
You never disappointment me, but todays video was by far supreme.
A great way to start a Monday morning watching a Slim video!!!
I agree. Nothing better. 1st cup of coffee accompanied with a Slim video. Doesn't get any better.
My goodness Slim I think you turn this video into a 10 I can’t believe I’m actually seeing this. Holy smokes. Your persistence. And hard work is appreciated. Big time.
We need to get Steve Wallis down here next winter to camp in that little pocket cave.
I love Steve Wallis
He would totally do it.
Welcome to the Lectric bike family. We got ours nearly 2 years ago. It's great for getting around locally when you don't want to unhitch or the trail gets too rough or narrow for the truck. It is also good for scouting ahead to make sure there is a turnaround for the trailer. Finally, also great for getting to a nearby bathroom in a hurry when nature calls.
And the Lectic folks have been most helpful and accommodating.
Hi Slim my wife and I have had our e bikes for 2 years now. Quick way to put a smile on a retirees face was to buy an e bike. In the desert environment there are NO shortages of the catus spikes to cause flat tires. There are several preventative things that you can do to help minimize them. Tire liners, and green slime are 2 choices. Carry a repair kit with enough tools to fix a flat when it is repairable. Little things like loose bolts on the kick stand and front axel and the little screws on the derailer are things to watch for. Another GOOD thing to buy is a small electric pump , very small and super for flat tires. Not that expensive and very handy. If a tube leak is small you can just pull the tube out and do the repair without removing the wheel. The front tire is easy but a rear flat is another story if it is a gash in the tube then it is impossible to patch. For this reason you should always carry a spare tube. This size tube is not easy to find at a CTC for example. There are utube videos on the correct way to remove the spare wheel if it becomes necessary. These bikes are high on the thieves to do list are ANY security lock can be quickly cut with a cordless grinder. An "air tab" tracker chip is the best insurance to get your bike back when it's gets stolen. We keep ours under constance surveillance here in NB
All that said enjoy your new bike. They are a lot of fun and good exercise. Have a nice day. Tom in the Maritimes at the NB-NS border .
I agree, tire liners are a must for desert riding. I believe Slim is Android, so a Tile tracker would be recommended.
I bought a Motiv spark ebike in January 2015 after renting one in Cali.
On my second battery and have put 1000's of miles on it.
80% asphalt, 20% off road.
Second week I had it I got a flat about 15 miles from home.
Luckily I got a friend to come rescue me.
Now I carry a patch kit , tools , pump and spare tube in my saddlebags.
I live in Germany. It's time for afternoon coffee and a Slim Potatohead. 😊
What part of Germany are you in? I was in Heidelberg 7 years, Mannheim for 3, and Wiesbaden for 3. My daughter lives in Hammersbach. Small world!
Its bedtime here and bacon and egg with corn on the cob
You must be part mountain goat! No way would you get me up there!
Slim…I never seem to be amazed at the quality of your video productions, and am always grateful for your creativity and storytelling skills. Another ‘home run’! Thank you…and safe travels. When do you next plan to come to Idaho. If you think Arizona has great geography, you don’t want to miss the diversity in Idaho. I’m happy to point out a few of the finer points you’ll want to visit.
You drove right past the exit to my house off the highway. I live in Avondale Arizona. Yes, that traffic is ridiculous! Stay safe out there I would hate to turn on the news to hear a Canadian UA-camr was attacked by a dancing lizard!
Your photography is beautiful and your determination is great…how you can climb like that amazes us!!
I gotta say that looks extremely dangerous up there looks like there could be a rock slide at any moment, but I see you’re being careful. My wife says don’t damage that hat she likes it.
The night sky footage was stunningly beautiful!
Not just a fun video, JUST BEAUTIFUL SLIM!!! The sky footage was breathtaking!!! Thank you!!!
A piece of bike-safety kit that most newbies overlook is: padded-palm gloves. This is especially true for rocky, mountainous terrain...
The view from the top of that mountain was breathtaking. Thank you for putting forth the effort to get there. The sunset and night sky was stunning. Brought a lot of peace to my heart.
you got the shot. loved that bird flying over your summit.
Be very careful... those things are notorious for doing damage to older folks... and I have a friend who has been seriously injured twice (he did not learn the first time). Wear as much gear as you can... gloves, elbows, knee pads, helmet at the very least. If you trail ride, you are 100% going to take a few spills... that is just the way it is. The gloves/elbow protection will really serve you well. AND SURE ENOUGH... you already had your first spill. Many more to come, I promise. Just wear gear... and you will be fine.
❤ Wow! Incredible hike! You make it seem so easy Slim! You are in great shape and you are also a brave man! ❤
Amazing video as usual. Those framed shots inside the cave were beautiful. I have 2 Lectric enikes. Originally I got the XP2 step through to take in my little class c for running to the store while camped. I quickly found out it was too heavy for me to lift into the class c. I got an XP Lite and that is the one I take camping. I use the XP2 around home for getting around in my little community as it's more comfy with the front fork suspension. I am happy with them. If price were no object I would have gotten a different brand with a more tailored to me frame, but they are fine for what I got them for, which is running errands, going out to eat, grocery shopping and short bike trails. I haven't ridden either of them over 14 miles at a time. That's about how long my backside can take it.

has been disposed of!
Maybe a chest harness for your camera would be safer for your hikes. Enjoying your adventures.
Probably should have had your helmet on for a climb like that.
Thanks for removing the trash.
Beautiful area with great videography. Thank you for sharing it with us. An ebike is on my wish list. Thank you for showing us yours.
And don't forget them Snakes!! I Love Your Adventurous Road Trips Around the Country. Stay Safe and Drink Plenty of Water!!
If you're able to elevate the seat so that when you sit on it, your leg is almost straight when on the pedal, it'll be more comfortable on your knees. :)
Hey folks:-) I just wanted to remind you that even if you think you're subscribed somehow UA-cam is unsubscribing people and almost every showing I watch of Slims I see that I'm not subscribed so I just resubscribe. Just an FYI
The night shot of the 'moving stars' was brilliant. What camera did you use for that, Slim? It would be brilliant here too, in outback Australia.
I don’t know why I always thought you traveled alone. Was surprised when I saw the bike footage. Someone had to be there to film it. Nice to have someone to share travels with.
That little drone did a great job! Great video. Thanks
Wanted to say this also.
Don’t be overconfident about those snakes! I live outside of Tucson and found my very much alive and well first rattler of the season in my yard at the end of January.
What an amazing view.
I visit my sister in snowflake, but have never been in the Phoenix area.
Enjoy the bike
Great job in climbing to the peak of the mountain. The views were awesome.
Hate Phoenix traffic. If I have to pass through that area I go at 5am and drive straight through without stopping. I feel sorry for anyone that lives in the area!
I don’t care what anyone else says your videos are the best. I Enjoy watching them , hi from the uk
I saw the title and thought you bought a Rivian! That would be sweet. Oh well. Enjoy the bike
???? Hey slim on those hikes like that. Do you keep track of how far you travel in elevation and distance and time it takes ?Some of your hikes be nice workouts and this one seemes like a couple hours atleast.
I miss Arizona. My son was born in Phoenix. That was 34 years ago, and we came back closer to family when my ex got out of the Marine Corp. The night skies are spectacular.
A more trusting soul, or maybe just consistently lucky, but driving off with your chair out there for the snatching and no hitch lock to keep the whole rig from wandering off into the sunset is something I just can't do. Nice bike!
How in the heck did you film this all on your own??? Bravo, well done.
Slim you outdid yourself on this awesome video with rock climbing, hiking, and cycling. Then to end it with a breath taking light show, WOW! May need to watch again in a week or so, thank you.
Knee pads Elmo pads and gloves is a must for us older people. I know the hard way lol
We've already seen rattlers in the area, they're aggressive cuz it's mating season. Had a warm, wet winter here
Thank u for the pictures and views be safe
Excellent as always. Thank you for sharing your adventures Slim. ❤
It’s a good day when Slim posted a new video
Yikes, Slim, not your real name, I was scared for you on those rocks. Not to mention, the bike on gravel roads.
Close encounters of the slim kind.
Hi Slim
In all your wonderings and now, your biking. You go very far. How do you find your way back to the trailer? Oh, and I’m glad you have a e-bike for some added extra fun. Take care.
You should get elbow pads and a pair of gloves especially on that really rough terrain. I got tired just watching you climb that mountain..
Your video work in faultless well done
Great video Slim, an old army buddy gave me a link to your channel and I enjoy your clips very much. I like that you seem to be a down to earth kind of guy out there traveling without a big fancy rig and enjoying life. Do you use that small drone that showed on a video when you were back home? Every time I see a clip on your video I think about how often you shoot a scene and then have to go back and get set up for the next segment. The rock climbing section must have taken a lot of resets. Safe travels and keep up the good work.
Wow, so much work went into producing this video for us. Greatly appreciated Slim 🙏
You might want to try moving the handlebars around if you can. It looks like they are a little too far forward for you. It ends up putting more weight on the front tire and can handle a little funny on loose terrain.
Slim, I have that same exact bike in white! I absolutely love it!❤ just be sure to tu n in gear down to 1 or hen going down a hill.❤
Wonderful videography! You had me wondering...how did he do that with the camera? Thank you for a peaceful ending to my day.
Great video’s. Wow I love it.
16:00 I had to slow it down so I could see the scenery. It's beautiful from up there. And what are the two lines of green foliage at the bottom going through down there?? Is it some kind of stream??
It shouts that with them being really green and a solid color like they're along a stream???
They are washes. Fill up in torrential downpours.
Slim your video’s just keep getting better and better! Loved the hike, E-Bike experience and the ending with the storm, sunset and stars was the best! Glad you are doing well. Nice to be over that trees down and freezing your butt of section of life you just went thru. Happy trails! Stay safe out there too! 😊
Excellent photography. You definitely put a lot of effort into your videos. You probably hiked that mountain twice after moving the camera so many times. The new drone is really working out well for you.
The outro was beautiful.
Your videos are awesome and I love the way you present your travels around the country. Thank you for sharing them with us. Please take care and stay safe 😊
Electric bike….next on Slim’s list…pickle ball.
😆 lol
😂you read my mind ! I was wondering how you prepped incase of any snakes or formidable creatures. You’re a brave man, and inspirational. Me and the wife want you to do some hiking out and about but have just a bit reluctance because of the snakes. lol 😅
What a beautiful video! That country!
Beautiful camera work and we always enjoy watching your videos. You are always informative and interesting. Hope you’re having a wonderful Easter.
Phew, I experienced vertigo watching you climb that mountain. Great job making it to the top!
Back about 15 years when there were only a couple of factory made very expensive Ebikes avaliable, I built one from a kit. It was only 250 watts but really flattened the hilly terrain where l live. Rode it for a while but always felt guilty and lazy for not being human powered. I love bicycles and the effort it takes to ride one. Gave up the Ebike and went back to peddling. I'm 69 and still in pretty good shape. I'll give Ebikes another try when that changes.
Beautiful scenery. We never get tired of videos. Thanks for sharing
My wife and I got e-bikes to take camping last year and we love them.
I have had eBikes since 2003 and they are better than ever in 2024. I prefer a Pedelec (pedal sensing assist only...no throttle) and just keep riding my 2016-2017 Haibikes while watching the eBike industry grow. The first time I rode an eBike I knew it was the transport for me. I rarely drive around town these days. Yes they can be expensive yet those with quality batteries can last a decade or more. It is an investment in yourself. Enjoy.
Great video:)
I LOVE your videos. They are beautifully done. But I have to say this and please don’t hate on me but I really don’t like your beard. Great video. Everyone is a critic right? Sorry Slim.
Love your self-made light show Slim!
