This dude managed to replace one of the best vocalists in the industry, bringing a fresh sound while still maintaining the bands original feel. Give this guy props.
Matt is a breath of fresh air for this band. They kept the groove and sound of the previous record and kept it healthy. It’s honestly amazing to see a guy you watched on The Voice somehow join the lineup of a band you’ve followed for years.
Its so cool that this fanbase is so fine with the change yet other fanbase literally complain about anything once it happens. Like FATN they sound amazing but when the singer changed everyone complained and yet there new album is 🔥
Reminds me of when Aaron left under oath and the next vocalist finished the album. I remember seeing them as an opening band and didn’t even realize that they had a new vocalist. Only when I looked up and realized he didn’t have red hair. Love it.
Heard this song for the first time this morning on SiriusXM’s Octane. As soon as I heard it I knew EXACTLY who I was sending this to. She told me that a couple days ago she sat with a rope in her hands contemplating on... well.. you get it. Crazy enough... she was the one who, about 4 years ago, pushed me to go admit myself into a psychiatry unit. I can honestly say it was one of the best decisions I ever made - and it was at her plea to me. I LOVE the line: “I wouldn’t talk to a friend the way I talk to myself.” That is a heart-stoppingly brilliant and universal truth of anyone who has ruminated suicide ideation. That’s why it’s always “a shock” when family and friends never see it coming. Thank you for this song! I appreciate the overall theme of reaching out when you need to.
I'm so proud of you for overcoming such a difficult period of life. I hope that your friend is able to make the same progress. Having support from others is huge and you seem like that person :)
Saved me from suicide. Thank you. If I hadn’t of found this. I wouldn’t be alive to comment on any song. I owe you my life. Don’t underestimate the power of a story

You’re right, he isn’t Jonny. He’s better. More relatable lyrics that aren’t all about heroine, meth and cocaine abuse, with such a natural voice. To each their own, and respect for both vocalists, but I got into this band because of Jonny; 5 years later I’m an even bigger Matt McAndrew fan than I am of Jonny Craig.
@@guillermor9207 lol no...he isn’t. Matt sounds like every other male vocalist ever. Jonny had a sound all his own and was very raw and emotional. Matt sounds like it’s just a job to sing. Jonny sounds like he sings because he needs to get his thoughts and emotions out.

Honestly, I'd say Matt not only replaced Jonny but elevated this band to another level. They sound so damn fucking good and unique. Matt is the best vocalist they could've chosen without a doubt.
Jonny has probably one of the best voices in this age. It's the saddest thing to watch such a talent be where he is now comparing him to where he should be. This dude is good for sure.
Captain Sarina people say that, but let’s be realistic Emarosa is totally not better without him. Slaves you could barely say is better without him, good but not quite better imo. I’ll give you DGD though that’s fair.
