    really entertaining video! thanks for posting these.
    just realized that at about 14:30, during hero phase, you used "attacks on the run" to kill the ordinary skeleton and damage the blazing skeleton (good use of the daily power) and you got a treasure card for that. next was exploration, followed by villain phase. during that villain phase, you used "unbalancing parry" to toss the zombie onto the glyph of warding, which killed it, and you took another treasure card. those may have been two different phases, but i'm pretty sure that counted as the same turn, so that second treasure card shouldn't have been drawn.

      Hmm. Good point. I think you are correct! Thanks for watching along!

    Nice videos :). Love all D&D board games and PRG and everything D&D related :D.
    In 8:15 the rat swarm should have been placed in the bone pile in Allisa's tile. The rat swarm card says "It moves to the closest Hero's tile [...]" and not "Adjacent to the closest Hero". So you should not be able to use Careful Attack.
    In 11:22 the Crushing Walls should be discarded, because there was a marker in the tile where it was going to be placed. So you didn't need to use your experience points to avoid it, you just needed to draw another card, and then decide if your were going to avoid this next encounter card. Even though the Glyph of Warden marker should not be there (because you used the Glyph of Warden incorrectly), you didn't know that yet.

      +Mauricio Takano (MauricioIwamaTakano) Yeah, I think you are right about placing the rat swarm - I think i was thinking it was moving adjacent when it was not . . . the perils of talking, filming and reading and manipulating minis all at once, I may even have been chewing gun as well, don't recall now . . . ;) And the crushing walls trap can be discarded and another draw just as you say if a marker is already in the tile. Thanks so much for your comments and for watching along!

      +Paul Darcy Yeah, that's normal to forget. I usually forget a lot of things while playing solo :P. And doing a lot a things at the same time must be terribly difficult. I was just pointing out some things that I've noticed so you could put a note on the video if you wish, but the video is really good. Congrats for the videos :).

    Never mind. I sometimes forgot to draw treasure cards too.
    And I always forgot to make the villain's action in 4~5 heroes play...I tried to convince myself the dragon is sleepy :D

    Does the white triangle effect still trigger even though you wouldn't have drawn an encounter card?

    • @MauricioTakano84
      @MauricioTakano84 8 років тому +3

      +Llamad Mow I think not, because it is written in the adventure "whenever you explore and place a tile with a white triangle", so I would assume she didn't explore, she just placed the tile with a white triangle.

    *correction: You CAN draw a duplicate monster card, but this activates the frenzy rule. Each monster that is part of the duplicate cards get to go twice per monster. Although this rule can be ignored if you state you are using house rules.

    • @PaulDarcy
      @PaulDarcy  8 років тому +2

      Oh, hang on, yes I see what you are saying. Another player can have the same monster as you and all monsters of the same type activate - but if the player drawing the monster card already has the same monster card they then discard and draw again!

      I did enjoy our video by the way. I wan't meaning this to be a negative comment in anyway. :D I guess I was viewing your video as if you were playing with multiple people and not solo. I apologize.

      No problem and I do appreciate comments and corrections (I've made a ton of mistakes in all my play throughs) - I probably could have been more clear on the rules in the play through as I did make it sound like you always discard a duplicate monster which is not really correct. Thanks so much for commenting and watching along!

      I did a quick review and I think I moved the skeleton each time . . . if not, then I should have. Thanks for watching along!

    Shouldn't the attack from the zombie, even though it missed Allisa because she used Unbalancing Parry, have defeated the blazing skeleton? Because it said so on the zombie card and the blazing skeleton only had 1 HP left.

      @@PaulDarcy What did the note on that card mean then

    • @PaulDarcy
      @PaulDarcy  5 років тому +1

      It's the Zombie's "Fist Damage". What it means it for every 1 monster on the Zombie's tile, including the zombie, it deals 1 damager per monster present. So if the Zombie hits you and is on a tile with another monster it would hit you for 2 damage. If it's by itself it deals 1 damage, etc.
