This was a free concert at São Paulo back in 2004. There was twenty thousand people at the time watching them live
Ps: nowadays there isn't anyone who raps in Brazil like Racionais MC's used to but our most famous rapper today is Djonga, who recently dropped a new album, in case you wanna react something more recent. The name of the album is "Nu"
@@feliperispoli5629 thanks fam I’ll check him out I appreciate it
2006
Foi no Sesc Itaquera
This concert it happened near my neighborhood.
actually, when he says: "if only thinking about killing, you already killed" he's talking about the sin of killing somebody, that if you're thinking about commit that crime, that sin, than you have sinned already, so he "preferes to listen to the priest" talking about compassion, love and forgiveness

Thanks fam I appreciate it
@@ROMsquad reacts to the video "2020 em uma música" from the channel Lucas Inutilismo 🙋🏻♂️🇧🇷
Vdd, foi o que Jesus disse.
@@ROMsquadREACT TO THE SONG "A VICTIM" BY RATIONAIS MCS, you will like it a lot
Mano, of all the people I watch doing, you are in fact the one that gives the most to understand and understand not only as lyrics, but also you get completely involved showing it through feelings. You are to be congratulated. To reward you, I'll tell you here that our Mano Brown started to do a great job through a Podcast. Interviewing personalities with strong questions, but these are questions that came from his head. Even because he doesn't like these things all armed. It's in the can. A save for you.
ua-cam.com/video/hxJdWufj4IM/v-deo.html
Bro, this song flows in a fast pace and has a lot of things that are hard to understand even for us Brazilians without learning the backstory.
Brown wrote it when he knew some of the guys from his neighborhood were trash talking him, saying that he was making songs about the struggles in the ghetto only for money, but he actually were not living those struggles because he was already rich. Brown's mom was worried about his safety when she said that not even black people cared about the cause anymore and someone could end up killing him for envy.
Later, on that part about "only think about killing", he's saying that the simple act of thinking about murdering someone is already a sin, so he didn't allow those kind of thoughts in his mind, and prefer to listen to the priest instead.
So the point of the song is, Brown crying and learning to accept that men can cry, when the very people he stands and fought for on his songs were saying bad things about him, looking at him with envy and even menacing his life. He chooses his tears instead of some kind of violent revenge.
😇👍

a interpretação desse mano é incrível

Me criei na periferia e vir tanta gente boa morrendo esse som me trás tantas lembranças boas 😔😔😔😔
Mano Brown is a brazilian National Treasure. His lyrics are constanty used in brazilian versions of the SAT in portuguese and sociology parts since he's basically a poet and does crazy societal analysis with his mad lirycism
It’s funny you just post the my subtitle guy just sent me an interview him talking to heads of government about favela I don’t know what they means but I’m going to do reaction on it
This show was fucking good. Here in Brasil, Racionais look like gods! Congratulations for the video, keep up with subtitles!
Bro...
I was waiting for this one, like your reaction way more than The others, you're latino like us, you know the drama and your language and portuguese haver a lot of similarity
4:47 ~ 8:38 In this part there is a dialogue between Mano Brown and another person, you probably could not understand very well, but it is a little complex even for those who are Brazilian, understanding the context of this part is better
And of course, you need to know about Sabotage, the man that Brown quoted at 13:08 "Sabotage rest in peace" and shows some footage of him (the guy with nice haircut). One of the greatest brazilian rappers, wrote a lot of masterpieces songs, full of poetry and black consciousness, and died shot :'( RIP SABOTAGE

He sang with emotion because this was a tribute show to Sabotage, who was the best rapper of his time, he was killed with 4 shots, he influenced many Brazilian rappers
You are right, when this concert happened, rival groups mixed together to enjoy the great racionais in this day. But concert was not meant just for this goal, it was just one of the very good work of racionais mc's and every show they made rival groups mixed in peace together cause everyone love the musics, most of them as a revolutuionary project beyond music
Brother, Racionais is pure poetry! maximum respect
It's cool to see that guy's singing at the end. Simulates someone crying.

Thanks for this bro! Racionais MCs deserves to be recognized all over the world. They are legends!
Cool react man! you should keep reacting to brazilian stuff we love it!
the notorious song you cited is Warning, as a fan of them both I tell you: that's exactly it. same storytelling, same vibe. the catch is that he's talking about a beef with him in the hood, a betrayal of a long time friend, but as the song progresses, you realise he's talking about jesus and jude.

This track is my favorite ever from the group. Not sure if you catched the true meaning but the song is about being betrayed by your own people. Kinda like what happened with 2pac. Racionais helped a lot in the fight for equality in Brazil, they managed to get people from all classes together, but there were still people in the hood feeling like they didn't deserve or that they got too popular for a rap group, which made Mano Brown feel betrayed. Nowadays these guys are seen as legends here, they inspired literally every and any rapper from the newer generations. There isn't a single rapper who doesn't mention Mano as his inspiration.
If you like Mano Brown ( the lead singer ) you can check his solo project. Boogie Naipe is the Album and Mano Brown is the artist. It has an 80's clubishy vibe
i like that thanks fam
maaaan you are amazing hahaha your reactions are so nice, keep watchin racionais, they are so deep and dope! they get better and better as long as you discover more and more musics

This song's a dialogue, but the alive version doesn't show that properly. Mano Brown receives a call from a buddy that starts to tell about how he was at a party and a guy started to talk shit about Brown, and how no one tried to make him stop or something.
Brown listens to that and starts a think about the advices his mother gave, telling that it was worthless to fight for the rights of black people, because even the blacks don't care about that. He thinks about the guys that he admires the most, Malcom X, MLK, and how they fought for peace and got shot.
The music's about Brown thinking about how his work and fight for the black people in Brazil is hard, and how he have to fight for people that don't give him the credits for staying where he was most needed, in the favelas, fighting for the consciousness of black people, instead of being where the money is, with the supermodels etc, and being sad about the conclusion that humankind is evil, and even Jesus cried.
Reage a Racionais, A vida e desafio.
Seus vídeos são tops de mais 👏🏽🤩
