As a lad flying models at RAF Wellsborne an 'old boy' used to turn up with a junior 60 3:38 on his motorbike. The fuz strapped to the back and the wings down the side wrapped in plastic bags.
Dad had an early 3.46, the one with the billet crankcase. First flight oos, returned by a kind farmer 12 miles away. Can't remember what happened to the engine, so if you know anyone with an early one, I would like to buy one.
Good morning Mark. Today's video put a big smile on my face. The only thing missing was the smell of the fuel. I have yet to see a Junior 60 fly badly. Thank you for sharing. PS, I wonder how many have been built over the years?
"Vintage" is a different type of RC fun.
