I loved visiting Porkfat, as it is located in one of the main points of the city, it has an alternative service, elegance and efficiency, its dishes are very well presented, and are very aphrodisiacs, I would love to try the lobster in sauce, it must be delicious!

I love Sydney, the city is beautiful, but if you add a good hotel to stay in Australia to a visit, you make a perfect complement, and in this top we can see the best hotels, and in my personal taste the best is Hotel Palisade, it has some beautiful views and a very elegant and minimalist interior, I love it

I laughed when I saw the title. Most of these places will be closed inside 12 months. I notice you don’t mention prices. You say elegant dining and it’s a pub scene. You mention pork chop and show beef fillet. Anything Neil Perry does is overpriced wanky food. The rents are way too high in Sydney so unless a restaurant can tap into a continuous tourist trade (thereby lowering the standard of the food and service) they simply can’t cover the overheads. I’m a chef and have worked in all manner of food establishments up and down the east coast of the country. I was born and bred in Adelaide where I did my apprenticeship. I do know a little about this subject. Yes you can find good food in Sydney but it is always pricey and most of the time they end up closing. By comparison in Adelaide I can still go out for dinner to great restaurants that have been operating for decades.
