Always great ideas, stories, and sounds. Definitely one of my favorite channels.
When the sonar started pinging and something was banging against the hull, It reminded me so much of that one episode of Doctor Who, 'Midnight'. It was very spooky, great video!

Jim seriously makes the best role play videos, they're so unique and like any other. I've never suggested a role play before but I was curious would you into making a bounty hunter role play? Like something out of Django.
I actually came up with an idea while watching this, a horror ASMR I like the thought of getting scared, *but* getting scared with someone else there is even better. it could be like a found footage thing too O: or like this but we are there instead of just a camera :D

I have to say while I was listening to this, I was doing some sketching in my sketch book. This made for a very relaxing atmosphere so I could concentrate on my drawing :)
I was so just waiting for something to appear in the window. It was the fear of the unknown and I felt more stressed watching this than I did relaxed. Also I think you were jinxing it by constantly saying: "I'm sure it's nothing to worry about"

Oh my goodness! This was so fascinating and scary and great. And strangely, a good reminder that no matter how stressful my job is, at least I'm not having to go to the bottom of the ocean in a tin can 😅 Excellent work as always, Jim!
hi jim, for 4 days in a row now i’ve been making this test where I fall asleep every night to this video, and while falling I close my eyes and try to imagine i’m really there, cause when I was a kid I used to get lucid dreams when I thought about something very often before going to sleep. for now i’ve only been getting this “aliens” ambience, so I even rewatched the film today hoping it would spark my imagination again :) night night
I just finished watching a documentary on this xD it's amazing, you're like a mind reader! It's so nice to have a relaxed role play amongst the quiet intense ones lately. You should do a part 2 and talk about the weird little shrimp creatures that live down there on the actual floor of the trench, 10 mins of explaining the squishy little shrimp would be crack up XD. Anyways, thank you for reading my mind by having this amazing role play. I loved the drawing, do relaxing to hear a little bit of paper action lol. Thank you so much for the amazing video :3 the bangs and creepy shark was amazing XD the whale sounds were just the best freaking thing in the word. Love the transmission lost at the end of the video. So well done 💞
My mind kept flipping between being conscious of how good the quality of the fantasy aspect ( the set design, the soundscape, the storyline, and of course the physical and voice acting ) was, then blanking all of that for a moment here and there as I fell into feeling I was watching a real documentary. Also I've finally found the secret to Jim's eyes looking completely black in a lot of vids and medium blue in a few. I reckon that, yes, it is a method of lighting, but, it is also that his eyes are such a deep, dark blue that it doesn't take much of a shadow to make them look black. Either that or my first suspicion, contact lenses. And wow! Those deep blue Sri Lankan sapphire peepers Jim ! 🔹️🔹️
Used to watch Jacque Cousteau as it aired when I was a kid (telling my age) absolutely loved the show but honestly the Waters terrify me! My worst nightmare is to be stranded in a flimsy dinghy in the middle of the ocean. 😨
Will always love those little physical comedy movements like 12:26 😄💙 I guess dying on the mysterious dark places of the sea could be an awfully deep adventure.
I absolutely love the sea... from this side of the screen. Unfortunately I'm actually allergic to it, so don't see it up close and personal. Love the deep sea sounds that come from it, though, very therapeutic. My heart sank to the floor at the loss of transmission when my extremely overactive imagination filled in the blanks. That is not a place where one should die. Not like that. Those jumps really got me, though, and now at 23h00, I have the energy to put in a teensy bit more work, so despite giving me an attack of Prinzmetals Angina, it helped towards my productivity. 😁😁😁
Noooooooooo! All we need now is for that mist to come in yr sub, a massive temp drop, and you to morph into a human/coelocanth hybrid... Or whatever..... Need part two asap!! Cos part 1 has left us all in suspense '!!....
