In the case of a six door Excursion think of it this way. They are the same wheelbase and overall length as a crew cab long bed, thus, they weigh and have the same dimensions as a crew cab pickup with a "Leer" style topper/camper shell that has some items stowed away in it.
@@CABTGuthrieOklahoma So in theory, could the 6 door excursion body be placed directly on a CC Long Box frame with zero modification to frame length? Meaning your towing and peace of mind would be at rest? Thanks!
I got a 2012 f350 dually long bed and a 2003 ford excursion engine needs a rebuild. how much to merge the 2? I know on the website it tells me to just supply the main truck but have you ever have customers give you a truck and the excursion?
We don't need you to supply the X. There especially is no reason to cut one up if it runs and drives. We can allow NADA "Trade-In" value but suggest you try and sale it locally first.
Are both rear window motors on the same control circuit? Can they be opened/closed individually by the driver? Besides that, the build quality looks really well done and OEM like. Definitely have me considering considerations.
I did a complete 2016 hump dash swap into a 2003, how do you get the screen and AC controls to work? Can you provide instructions or offer a paid service if I mail you parts?
For all practical purposes they are the same...look at it this way. The six-door X is the same wheelbase and overall length as a crew cab long bed. What you have here is a CC LB with a camper/topper really.
