Racing in America! Satellite Racing | Formula 600 | Day 1

February 2020 - I got the chance to go to America and do some racing! A really good buddy of mine for years, by the name of Matt Strand, was kind enough to let me drive his trusted Formula 600 race car. We went to the Roebling Raceway and I managed to get my SCCA Racing license, after a tough two days.
The track itself, very bumpy and fast! going to nearly 140mph in a car, powered by a 600cc bike engine. But because it weighs about the same as a teabag, the speed it can reach is amazing!
On the 2nd day, it rained and it rained... a lot! the track had a ton of standing water, so I may post day 2 footage if this video gets enough likes :)

Wow that opposite shifting must be confusing

It took me a couple of weeks to get used to it at home. Simply reversing the paddle shift controls but still, bit of a mindf*ck after 15 years at this point of doing it one way :D

Just waiting for Covid to go away so you can come back. Have picked up a few more 4 wheeled toys to play with since 😉
