I hate that Omar was bullied. In the FooFamily we love him BECAUSE he's Spanish. We call him our little sexy Latino. I think, even though most of us are younger than Omar, we're very over-protective over him because he's the youngest in the band and he's like our little brother almost. But yeah, we love Omar and that's all that matter right? that his fans love him, haters can just back the fuck off because these 3 (formerly 4) boys are most of the Fooers WHOLE LIVES right now, I don't have a life, I'm barely ever with my friends and I just love them so much it hurts. I was very worried when Oscar was having chest pains in Chile but I've stopped worrying now because he's obviously okay now and that's all that matters. They're all physically okay and that's good. Of course we hope they are emotionally and mentally stable as well but that's their personal life and I am a big believer of privacy all though I do wish I knew where they were every second of every day, I don't really like those people who are like "OMG OSCAR AND CECELIA ARE DATING??" like WHO FUCKING CARES?? HE'S 20 YEARS OLD AND WE ALL KNEW HE WOULD GET A GIRLFRIEND SOMEDAY!!! One that he can spend the rest of his life with and have children with and carry on his legacy as a person and maybe even the same career path, someone who can carry on the Enestad name and make all of us proud and do GREAT things in life

Came back here for Omar's statement on 'cultural representation', which is one of the best I've ever heard. First came across it in a compilation of lots of clips by a fan - but there was a Lady Jenevia watermark in one of the frames, and as I'd already watched the later interview with older Omar, I knew where to look.
I understand the role model thing and that many may need it - but I've always been more into pioneers becoming role models for others by doing their thing in spite of whatever. Not being afraid may be dangerous, but how else can you really live and inspire? And yes, it's easier if you don't think too much about all that might go wrong. A big part of most wars is scaring others into submission .

Gosh, it is like interviewing my four year old child. I mean... they are infinitely sweet and awesome but... should there be anything else like a conversation on music genres and messaging to the Universe? What? It is a KS1 material not to be covered in Reception? Ok, let's wait till next year when hopefully we will be able to enhance our questionnaire material
