    Great, but just one thing: according to experts in DuBois' work, DuBois is pronounced "Du Boyz" (at least according to my Social Theory Professor)

      "Du Boyz" is the American way to pronounce it and how they say it in the video is just the French way ;)

    No mention of Herbert Spencer? Lester Frank Ward? You should have mentioned Vilfredo Pareto - who turned to sociology when his intricate economic models failed. It's a vindication of the discipline! Or someone like Talcott Parsons whom I don't know much about but his Wikipedia page looks impressive!
