Just had to replace my grill and this tutorial really helped. Thanks so much for all the good content.
I found a nice one at my local junk yard and after I took off all the screws, it had some adhesive that made it hard to take off the grill from the hood, it took me about 30mins to detach it, it was really on there.
Helpfull hint ....use a heat gun to loosen up the double backed tape
on the emblem and it comes off easy .

My grill was glued to the hood at the top edge with what looks like black silicone or rtv. I was surprised that this one came off without any rtv. Maye it's because mine is the sport edition?

do these grills come with new upper fasteners? I cant see how you could possibly reuse them after squashing the threads with your vice grips.

To put abug deflecter. On a2006dodge ram the grille raises. Up with hood do take grille off put deflecter on. Then replace grille???

Seems like no one dose. Looks like a good market if you know the sizes... I searched on line for about a hour before giving up. I'll make some bolts from the hardware store work I guess.
