Hi Mao , beautiful site seen . All the children are polite and friendly but I have my favorites 33:26/42:25 the little girl wearing red and white carrying the baby and you said , he look like Japanese. They are so beautiful . Are they orphans or still have their parents? So sweet of you to gave them books and pencils . God bless you .
I’m glad you like it, Children there, they have their parents who are living in the village. Yes the little baby is so adorable. They are very well behaved , so lovely. Thank you 🙏 so much for
The people who live on the water are mainly ethnic Vietnamese, correct? The woman in the floating store sounds like she has a Vietnamese accent. Everyone else I can’t place their accents. I know some may refer to the accent as Siem Reap but it sounds like Khmer Loeu accent. A lot of Khmer Loeu people live in Siem Reap and Vietnamese too, but Vietnamese tend to live close by and on the water.
Hello the people that’s I have met in Floating village they’re Cambodian people, the way they speak is Siem Reap action. They are very friendly and very polite. Thank you 🙏 so much
@@Mao-od8gp I don’t mean nationality but ethnicity. I’ve read several articles about the floating villages from westerners and Vietnamese reporters. The majority of those who live nearby and on the water are ethnic Vietnamese. Some do not have Cambodian citizenship. Cham people also live within the same community and the two groups often intermarry. Both ethnic Vietnamese and Cham people have a long history of living near and on the water because their main source of income is fishing, even before the Khmer Rouge regime. The accents are unique to non ethnic Khmer and not by region. That’s why some people will have this accent in the region but not all Cambodians in the same region will speak in this dialect.
What a nice tour!
