I agree. For years I literally thought they were the same person 😂
@@xxIluvyouguysxx saaame, I saw 50/50 the other day and was convinced Jessica Chastain played in it
That "oh-o shiit" was delivered perfectly 😂 😂 😂
i love Celia, she is my favourite character. well done Jessica!!!
Celia was such a breath of fresh air in this book and this movie. Awesome casting.
I didn't know Hilly's mom is Sissy Spacek who played Carrie in the 1976 movie Carrie 😭
Golden-xv And Mae Tuck in "Tuck Everlasting".
Me either omg she’s amazing
omg wow
whaaaaat omg no wonder her name was so familiar
She also won an Oscar for playing Loretta Lynn in Coal Miner's Daughter.
lol when the mother says napkins, more like a mop o,o
Sissy Spacek is so funny in this motion picture !!!
This movie has got some really inspiring casting. Alison Janney and Emma Stone really look like mother and daughter so do Sissy Spacek and Bryce Dallas Howard. Also Bryce Dallas Howard and Jessica Chastain look a lot alike, yet Bryce is given darker hair and Jessica is given lighter hair which really brings out the contrast between Hilly and Celia.
Dparish24 The actors/actresses are meant to resemble the characters.
Missus Walters was like, Oh Shit wahahaha! That is just so funny.
I haven't seen the movie but seems like hillys mother is hilarious!!!
You've gotta watch it. It's a classic
Hilly's mother is the original Carrie.
"Run Minnie, run!"
Sissy Spacek is so talented!
the mom saying oh shit with a cigarette is so iconic and the best scene of the whole movie
0:53 This little scene reminds me so much of my own family. My mom laughing her ass enjoying the drama while my sister getting angry shouting "shut up mother!" LOL.
Is it bad that I think Hilly's mom is one of the best characters in the movie I mean she's funny as hell but she also is responsible for introducing a demon spawn to this world
I think she said along the lines of Daddy raised you rotten. She was also allowing Minny to use the inside restroom. Maybe Hilly was more influenced by her father and turned out the way she did.
Hilarious!
Celia: Hilly, I got pregnant after you and Johnny broke up.
Mrs. Walters: (laughing) Oh, Shit.
Hilly: Shut up, mother.
Edit: 1,000 likes! Thank you!
xD
+David Valencia I love when Sissy Spacek said "oh shit" 😂😂😂
David Valencia
Mutha has arrived!
Eva Darkhölme ikr!
I love that part!
" *HILLY* *I* *GOT* *PREGNANT* *AFTER* *YOU* *AND* *JOHNNY* *BROKE* *UP* " 😂😂
"Oh shit!" 😂😂😂
"Shut up mother!"
Jessica was great in Zero Dark Thirty but damn, no one else could pull off the cheery upbeat and distressed roles like her. Congratulations on your first Oscar win, Miss Jessica. You deserved it 10000000%+ ☺
Oh god, Celia is just so precious in every way even trying to apologise
The mother's reaction kills me every time
0:05 hugging the sis like a pro! LOL This entire scene is perfectly hilarious **claps**
"We're both in The Help, yes, but who did I play? You don't know, it's a blur, thanks to Jessica Chastain" hahahahaha they really look like twins, seriously
+St. Fabala HOLY CRAP THAT SONG YAS
I love how the guy jumps over the puke!
"Oh shit" 😂😂😂😂👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 mrs Walters was fucking funny
Everyone wants to be a Celia.
And everyone wants a Johnny.
It’s so sweet but also so sad by how kind and optimistic Celia is, especially to Hilly of all people. Even when Minny said it as it is that she was mad that Celia had Johnny. Celia immediately gave her the benefit of the doubt and was like “oh, she must think I stole him, that’s why she doesn’t like me.” And holds onto the belief that she and Hilly could be friends.
00:52 ME at the family reunion ALWAYS!!!
The “oh shit” 0:52 was priceless 🤣🤣🤣
Had Celia been a redhead, you wouldn't know whom was who. They really are almost twin sisters!
That puke free jump at 1:33 hahahahahahaha
the way johnny jumps over celia's puke lmaoo
oh i always feel sorry for celia :(
0:30 Hilly's fake "come here sweetheart" is bascally the 1960's equivalent of mean girls calling you "hey bestie!" or "hey girlie!" when they slide into your DM's.
Celia is literally my favorite character I love her SO MUCH!
"Why don't we get back to the auction? ". Just brilliant!
Miss Walters: What a mess, napkins.
One of the best lines in this scene!
Where does one find a man like Johnny?
Chanel Coco Ikr
“WHY DONT WE GET BACK TO THE AUCTION!” 🤣🤣🤣
I just realized Johnny said something to Hilly, almost like, “leave her alone”, but it was something else in her honour and defence.
Yes he said "that's enough"
Howard and Chastain just two of the jewels in a stellar cast; the talent in this ensemble….that’s star power!😘
Go watch Jessica Lange in Blue Sky and you'll see how Jessica Chastain looks just like her in the ball scene. It's amazing. Two amazing actresses.
Ms. Walters "Oh Shit" lmaoooooo
If your gonna be a mess might aswell be a hot mess...Love Celia...
"Napkins" lol
0:49
Celia: “Hilly, I got pregnant after you and Johnny broke up!”
Mrs. Walters: “Oh shit!”
Hilly: “Shut up, mother!” 🤣💀
The lady in red at 1:13 has the exact expression i would😂😂😂
I need someone like Johnny :( he’s such a good person
I can’t get over this woman’ a beauty…
What a doll!
Hillie is very pretty also
In the book, Hilly is attractive, but tends to gain weight when under stress.
all these actresses had such great scenes together. a real pleasure to watch the superb acting.
johnny is just the sweetest
Omg Jessica Chastian & Bryce Dallas Howard Are so Gorgeous & Emma’s Stone So Adorable ♥️♥️🥰🥰🥰
I want THIS Johnny in my life!!
When mom laughed and said, "Ohh shit." Lol
Mom was with the mess! 😂😂😂
0:52 fucking love this delivery
Bryce Dallas Howard and Jessica Chastain are both terrific in this scene (well, in the whole movie!).
they're the type of actresses that just own whatever role they do, i've never seen a bad film with either of them in and of course they're both painfully stunning
The amount of oscar winners in this movie is mindblowing. Sissy, Octavia, Jessica, Emma, Viola, Allison, Mary Steenburgen and Cicely. Wow. Oh wow.
“tickled” is officially one my favorite expressions of being ecstatic
Jessica Chastaine brought Celia to our hearts. Her creation of this character is a total testament to her craft especially after watching some of her other kick ass roles!
0:51 Mrs. Walters living for that tea
To be fair Celia kinda did Hilly a favor because her dress looks better with the sleeves like that
Celia would have done her a hell of a lot more favors if Hilly wasn't such a bitch 🤧
yeah but only one sleeve was removed. It would look better with straps vs sleeves.
What a body Célia has!!! Love her spontaneous and honest personality!
It's weird how watching this scene it's like I'm watching the good twin and the bad twin moments.
Bryce and Jessica look like twins
Love the mother's "oh shit..!" LMFAO ❤
How can Jessica be so perfect?
Amazing effects. It really looks like Jessica Chastain is talking to herself here. I don’t know how they did it!
This scene and the one with the human "shit cake" are the funniest thing about that magnificent movie. 🤣🤣🤣👌🏻🥧💩
You just gotta love Sissy Spacek's character. She's so matter of fact it's hilarious!!! "What a mess. Napkins!"🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Celia is such a good person! 😍
I'm here after Jessica Chastain/Bryce Dallas Howard lookalike moments.
Amazing how they would let Jessica Chastain play two completely different characters instead of casting 2 different actresses. She's so talented.
SKSAKK help
Lol its Bryce Dallas Howard playing Hilly
Celia is such a precious soul.
allison janey and emma stone really do look related
1:14 Are those women smiling because Hilly got put in her place?
Sean Furlong No, they're smiling because of the drama; not to mention all the gossip that incident will bring. Those Benefits are normally boring: a bunch of stiff, rich people in one room.
Bryce and Jessica really do look alike!
Celia and Johnny were perfect for each other
Kind and unconditional in their love
Hilly's mom is hilarious 😂
Man, thankfully the director decided to give Bryce darker hair, and Jessica Blonde hair. Must be hard to distinguish themselves if both appear with their natural flame red hair. Cause they have been mistaken a lot in their life even before they were famous
Oh come on Celia kick hillys ass!! Skeeter or minny coulda helped the poor drunk thing.
