Looking up the cost of that wine compared to some of the £17.50 it doesn't seem as nice. Not for the different in price (£55 compared to £17.95?)
Anything from Berry Bros & Rudd is going to come with a premium price tag. You’re paying a premium due to their status as the UK’s oldest wine merchant, and their St. James location. I’m sure the wine is lovely, but the branding carries a cost.
@@Maitreya0208 I am a fan (and a customer of BBR), but yes I tend to buy more now from people like Fingal Rock. Better prices and supporting more shops.
Sorry I didn't really mean to publish this video. I mean I did, but I thought I had selected the setting in UA-cam which meant it would just go out on the quiet and not end up in anyone's subscription feeds etc. I was sorting through some old videos from October / November last year and found this one was uploaded but not published for some reason - I forget why.
Anyway yes, I agree this isn't really good value for money compared to several alternatives from Nuits St Georges you can by from Fingal Rock.
@@BurgundyWithTweedy Toms been in London since Monday. Amongst other things collecting from the warehouse some wine for me! Lol ( that's before you get the rest lol).
