You two always seem to brighten up my day, waking up at 4am for work, getting a new RCKiwiw's to watch while I have my coffee is how I enjoy spending my mornings before I head out on the daily grind, So thank both of you from the bottom of my heart, You truly make a difference in peoples lives in a positive way. Much Love, Beesod
Hello Beesod! Wow! Thank you so very much for your lovely comment. It is people like you who keep us motivated and you have just made our whole week with your kind words and that means a lot to us. We are so pleased to have you with us on our RC Adventures and also very happy that you enjoy our videos. Thank you so much again! Keep in touch, and stay safe. ❤️ -Amber and Joe
@@TheRcKiwis - TL:DR - You made my week for replying, that truly put a smile on my face, thank you. I got in RCs in my mid teens. so mid 90's (just turned 40, I'm an old man) to help with depression and anxiety, Not only does it help greatly for the depression, It also helps with the anxiety, by forcing my self to go out to parks to drive, fly. I've been fortunate enough to meet some really nice people, and my anxiety tends to fade away. So yeah when I say you're doing amazing things, I mean it. Sorry for the long sappy heart to heart, I just wanted to express how I and many others feel about the both of you. have a great day Joe & Amber.
Joe, Joe, Joe, how many times do you have to zoom in HD on your soldering jobs ;) Great vid guys, I would add that getting the PureTek battery strap is a great option if you want to use slightly bigger batteries.
PS. 100% off topic, If you both ever decide to go to a costume party, You would both make the BEST Gomez and Morticia cosplayers ever! (from the adams family) :D ofcourse Gomez would look all yoked, but hey, it's 2021! ok I promise no more super creepy posts lol.
Good video. Right on point with all ten tips for sure. I still think number one tip should don’t upgrade right away use it till something breaks. Then see what you want to upgrade.
Smart advice on ALL points...but also info that can be applied to any RC (ESPECIALLY RCs that are more prone to breaking certain parts (ie. point #3)).
Great video thanks guys, I don’t have a maxx but I checked out the blower you guys use, looks like a little beast definitely gonna get myself one of those, so thx again guys 👍
Thanks for the vid guys... Very solid advice... Something that's very overlooked as not many go into why and how... is Shock oils. Even with the X-Maxx... heavier shock oil (I run 50wt front and rear in my X-Maxx and it's near perfect for an all around basher/urban assault vehicle) These things really are designed to be properly bashed but some of us drivers go super hard. Keep em clean, give them some love after getting them wet and they'll last forever!! Epic vid guys!! Love the channel!!
I actually put sledgehammer tires on my maxx and it was fine with the stock gearing but when I geared up to a 26t pinion it shattered the traxxas "metal" lol
Well done guys, a great video. Also a nice idea to put links below for some cheaper rcs that someone can purchase. I would like to make a request, can you review the Absima Torch of the Absima Assassin please ? All the other big channels haven't.
Love your videos! Got a Maxx after seeing all the fun you guys were having. Upgrades tons of stuff. Had to acknowledge that the Badlands MX38 belted tires are too much for the Maxx. Stripped the gears no matter how many teeth. Probably just my driving, lol. Do you like the sledgehammers? Thanks for all the fun informative vids!
I've changed nothing in my Maxx. Not battery connectors, tires, or suspension. Running on 4s and the truck has been phenomenal so far. The trucks a ripper right out of the box.
@@robertoramos8257 still great. No issues so far. Hit head on with another Maxx and the front end popped apart. Took the pin out, reset parts. Install pin. Right back to mayhem. And the Traxxas light kit just sets the truck off. She's a ripper.
@@robertoramos8257these trucks are made the way they are for a reason. I use all my rigs as they were intended to be used and I have no issues. Keep the shiny side up my friend.
I’d say don’t buy it. As an owner. First off esc is garbage I’m on my third. Secondly without widekit you might as well hold a controller and kick a ball around. And if you do that you need steel driveshafts. So all in all just buy a MAXX. Or the e revo 2.0

i'll never be able to afford a maxx but i'll remember these tips
Get a used one bro. I found one at my local pawn shop for $300 with charger and 4s lipo!

Hi, did maxx hard to maintenance? Can it use standard servo?? Really thank you!
Great video guys. I think the Maxx is the reason how I found your channel! I love my Maxx, I agree with the points you have made.
Thank you David 😊 We hope you are well!
I love the Maxx. My Xmaxx is my favorite but sometimes it's just to big for the area where I'm playing with it so that's where the Maxx comes in.

i put new shocks gpm racingshocks 125mm with 6mm shafts and i put 1000 wt oil and that got rid of my problum with chase slap all together.

That is awesome, let us know how you get on and if you like it 😊
. Did you make a v2 maxx video, I didn't see one, even in the description

What you recommend for CV axles for the LOSI DB pro... stock ones also out of stock and bend for anything...
Hey there! We would recommend the Vitivon ones! We have them for our losi lasernut, video on them soon! 🍻
@@TheRcKiwis thanks for the quick reply keep up the cool videos

Great video! This has helped me so much in making my decision!
The MAXX seems like an awesome truck!
It looks really good too!!
Great video Kiwis!!! Good tips!!! Are we going to see an RC drag car on the channel??? Drag Slash, Losi 22S and T A DR10 all look good!!!
What kind of wheels are those??

You should put links for rc cars from Australia
Just got my wife a green one today! You guys let me know that I've made a great decision
Thanks for this list...I'm waiting for my Maxx to be built. Why are all these parts out of stock?
Seems like bad business ops to me...
Great advice and awesome content thank you for sharing!
Thank you so much, Chad 😊🙏🏽
