Here MSC Patran 2016 64bit and MSC Nastran 2013 64 bit..
Msc Patran something crashed in Windows 10, if you havenot windows 10, you can install Patran 2013 (but best Patran 2016).. So you shall use Patran of 2016, which is relatively smooth than Patran 2013, both are working any windows. and Patran 2016 structure can be analised by Nastran 2013 software.
Dont worry about 2016 Patran, 2013 and 2016 both Patran are same ,just background color changed, both are looked similar.
Stepwise Instruction of installing "PATRAN AND NASTRAN.. 100% working".
Make sure that "FIRE WALL" OR "ANY ANTIVIRUS" Must be off during installation, After Installation you can Turn on. Dont worry it is not Virus file, sometime file may be missed any antivirus..
Lets start....
1. Download Software from the given link.
2. First go to MSC patran (ofcourse it is for 64bit users only)
3. go to MSC.2013 LicGen.2013.12.04.Release
4. Open crack folder
delete old license file..
Go to run- CMD- type 'ipconfig /all' just for checking server host name and physical address for confirm.
5. Click MSC_Calc_20160430, for creating a new license .. type 'Y'
6. Open msc_licensing_11.9_windows3264
7. Browse license file which you creat. and install
8. Go to run, search MSC utility or it may be in folder c, then you have to search in - C:\Users\dipan\AppData\Roaming\MSC.Software\MSC.Licensing\11.9
9. make new server for you, select those file as seen in video. then start server.
10. go to my computer (right click)- properties- Advanced system settings - advanced - environment variables- create variable name (MSC_LICENSE_FILE) and variable value (host id @server name) save it
11. click on patran setup as 'run as administration', install,. It will take long time, i am skipping that part..
at the end it require license which u have to select from MSC utility or C:\MSC.Software\MSC.Licensing\11.9.
11. now install nastran as same as patran. It will take long time. i am skipping that
Then finished give a smile and go for Structure analysis.
check that don't change Target, just change 'start in'.

Who can tell me the prime difference between Patran with Nastran?
it works in my computer but when i want to install other software of msc family then it doesnt work why? i mean why do i need to modify the license each and every time?
Same happened here, downgraded from last windows update and it's working again. Hope it helps...

Madness of Technology Yep, for some reason when I updated my Windows, the same error (...0142) was showing up. I've tried to reinstall it but still no results... then, downgrading it was working fine once again

Have you properly Installed that software According this video.. I think you must skip any step..

I think you made some mistake on installation time..
the crack works for all MSC suite softwares?
if i would like to install other MSC software like ADAMS, EASYS or APEX full pro, could i use the same crack? (obviously all them 2016 version)
