Guys! When an epidemic happens, all of the discarded infected cards DO NOT get shuffles into the deck! They get shuffled together and then PLACED ON TOP of the deck! That's why you always draw the bad cards after an epidemic.

I’m surprised rik didn’t say anything about that mechanic since he mentioned he played the game a couple of times off screen. I was shaking my head when rik said Riyadh had a slim chance of being pulled at 9:00. You had a pretty good chance of Riyadh’s being pulled after the epidemic card since you only drew a few cards beforehand.

Honesty I didn't realize how hard the game was with 4 people. Me, my sister, and my mom played it IRL and also won with only one card left. I am so proud of you guys 😄😄😄
Oh, I didn't realize you had a series on Pandemic, I recently played Pandemic for the first time over the weekend IRL (like with the actual board). It really is a fun game, and it's interesting playing a board game where you have to work together as opposed to against each other.
Also, I realized something interesting. I was playing an older version of the game (like old enough that it didn't have the Contingency Planner or the Quarantine Specialist yet and has wooden cubes instead of plastic ones) and in that version you not only have to find all the cures to win but you then also have to remove all the infections to eradicate the disease. Seems either it's different on the video game version, or they made it easier over the years. Either that or I'm just dumb and read the instructions wrong.
There came a point when Mumbai was in danger, they'd been sitting on an Airlift since very early (if not the first round), and they had a Medic. I was just staring at the screen waiting for them to make the connection...
You guys should play the On the Brink expansion of Pandemic with the Virulent Strain challenge. It was formerly only available on mobile but it is now available on PC.

Since you guys play Introductory level, is it possible that in the near future, I would like to watch all four of you again at the Standard difficulty level? I really enjoyed listening on how you plan your strategy :)
if you guys think that this version is hard then you guy's would hate the expansions, I actually have the physical Pandemic boardgame and have a couple of the expansions, On the Brink and in the lab, on the brink adds an antgonist player, the bio terrorist who's goal is to go around spreading their own disease, and in the lab changes how cure's are made, you have to take samples of the diseases along with the colour cards to create the cures. so that stratergy of getting rid of one colour as soon as possible actually fucks you up in the long run because surprise the cure card you drew for the black sniffles required some of the red flu and whoopsies you got rid of that ages ago.
I would like to see the game Price discussed on your first episode, the one to kill or spread a disease across the world, I don’t remember the name of it tho!
