- Takeuchi TCR50-2 tracked dumper walkaround. This is Takeuchi 5 ton tracked dumper they just released at the end of June in the United States. They've had it overseas for years but finally brought it here. I went last week and picked it up from my dealer to try it out and have it here when the Takeuchi marketing team came out to film. It's a very capable and unique truck and was happy to try it out. Thanks for watching! #EliteEarthworks #Takeuchi #TCR50 @TakeuchiMFG
Great video and review.
Thank you!
That thing is cool! She would come in handy on soft ground where a smaller load and tracks would keep the truck from getting stuck so much. It definitely has its place on a jobsite. Thanks for sharing.
It’s really neat I like it! Yeah that’s definitely where it would shine.
It's like a baby brother to your little danish pastry dump !! Mrs. Elite would look great in that !!
It is. I’m trying to get her to come out and run it. 😁🤞🏻
That is one neat looking machine. If I lived closer to you, I’d come work for free a few days just to run that. Thanks for sharing with us. Great job Brandon.
It’s very cool I’ve enjoyed running it. I’d like to try on more hills and mud to really put it to the test
Small but definitely has its use cases. The side dump might be its best feature and it looks like you can see pretty good from the cab where its dumping out on the side too! Awesome demo!
Yes the side dump is great! Very handy for backfilling or dumping close to a building
Thanks for the video Brandon nice machine for sure job specip. Take care of yourself and family and friends and be Blessed ❤️.
Thank you! Appreciate you watching
Really nice *DEMO for Takeuchi TCR50-2 Tracked Dumper* but you've moved on to bigger machines and much bigger jobs. Then again, if you want/need one - *BUY ONE* Thanks for sharing!
Yeah I could definitely see a purpose for it but you are right it’s a bit on the small side for the things I have going right now.
Definitely something you don’t see here in the U.S..something different 😎😎😎👍👍👍
That’s for sure it stands out here 😁
They use them here in Canada a fair bit.
Loved the “Taco Train” at the end !
lol me too!
Nice machine there! It looks like it doesnt sink in the mud either! Looks like u are having fun with it! I guess the 260 would be the right size machine to work with it! Thanks for sharing!👍
It’s a neat machine for sure. Yeah the 260 would be perfect for it.
@@eliteearthworksllc 👍
Nice video Brandon. Can see a lot of potential with it. Mrs Elite would have a ball driving it.
Thanks! I’m trying to get her to come out and run it. 😁🤞🏻
That's a cool machine. Besides construction, every rancher and farmer needs one. Even hunting clubs could wear one of these out. It being a Takeuchi easily seals the deal for being dependable. As a side note, it looked like you were loading talcum powder into it. It must be really dry over there. Maybe since you are a loyal Takeuchi man, they'll just let you keep that one and test it out.
Those are all good uses for the truck. It’s super dry here all the dirt is powder right now. It just pushes like water lol I’ve been blowing out air filters and radiators twice a day
Nice! Looks fun to drive. I could see where it would be good to have on a pond clean out.
I agree I think it would be awesome for that!
Great video and machine that has your name all over it lol. Mrs elite mit love that 😂
Thank you! I agree it does 😁 I’m trying get her to come out and try it 🤞🏻
I see the track dumper in your future, nice machine . You're going to give Mrs Elite a job to run it.
I’d love to have it. I’m trying to get her to come out and run it 😁🤞🏻
That is like a very large UTV. I agree many places that it would be a great addition to getting the job done.
That’s exactly what’s it like and yes there are a ton of jobs where it would be perfect
I used one like that called a morooka. Enjoyed it immensely!
It’s just like a morooka very cool little trucks
Morookas are garbage.
that is a cool little machine. I don't know where it runs best at, I have seen some of the pipeline people use them where the ground is real soft and a wheeled machine would make too many ruts, but it would be great around a house if you need to avoid landscaping and have a lot of dirt to move into or out of a small location. It would be incredible if the cab rotated too so you could drive in, rotate the cab and just back it right back out; maybe a good backup camera system would fix that, would need 4 cameras and seamless blending of their images....
Hope you enjoy it and thanks for the videos.
Yes I agree I really wish the cab and everything rotated like the Prinoths do. I think your right it would handy in both situations
Good Job! Different look for you, but you did a great job selling the equipment!
Thanks man!
Great video can’t wait to see it in action looks really cool 😎 love the hat 8:42 love the camera shots and 13:40 love the camera shots and 14:26 love where you put the go pro
Thanks man!
@@eliteearthworksllc no problem 😊
Pretty sweet rig, definitely have to add some sides to that.
Yes it needs those bad if not to hold any more at less it would help keep rocks from falling on the truck
Nice machine.
It’s really neat!
Cool machine.
It’s definitely a neat machine
Nice machine 👍🏻🇺🇸
It’s really cool!
It makes me wanna find a mud puddle and do some drifting!
Just curious, is there a detent, beep or something that tells you when the bed has rotated back into home position?
There’s a range of jobs where that is the perfect tool… especially on crowded job sites.
Me too 😁 it has a center light that comes on but it has a small range where center is which is a little weird. Yeah I can see the potential on a lot of sites.
Good Golly, Miss Molly. What a neat machine. Up, down and all around. Too bad about all the dust but it was really nice seeing what it could do climbing with and without a load, etc. I can really see the trench filling capability, too. I imagine the weight load is really well distributed but do you see that tracks being too aggressive on lawns or do you think they wouldn't do too much tearing up? Thanks for the reveiw - well done!
Yes the tracks would definitely tear up a finished lawn or sod for sure. Be tough to turn without completely ripping up the grass. Appreciate you guys watching
It needs a bigger bed hahah. Cool machine
I agree very cool just needs to be bigger
Yep, small bed, very specific market to justify but MAJOR cool factor!
It’s definitely cool!
It looks extremely capable. It could probably handle some greedy boards on the sides.
Oh yeah it could definitely handle some taller sides
Push for the 10T version! Cool unit though 🎉
I’m going to try 🤞🏻
How does it compare width wise to the TL 12 ? Let's Dig could have used this when him and his uncle were dredging out all of those ponds in behind the houses , a couple of years back .
I believe it’s 84” wide so it would have worked great for that.
Big guy! Sale rep for the company!
Guess it would serve some purposes, but I like your Hydrema better. I do like the Yanmar engine. I have a small tractor with a yanmar that has been a bullet proof engine.
Yeah I love my hydrema and will never get rid of that thing. I agree yanmar makes a great engine
...these things are called 'ultra heavy earth moving equipment' here in the UK... 😉
(This is why it takes 30+ years to build a rail link (140 miles) at a cost of +£/$/€ 1 million per METER.)
That’s cool!
I would put some side boards on it.
Yes it definitely needs those
First Comment!!!! 👍🇺🇸
Nice!
Looks like a smaller version of what they use on the Columbia Icefields.
That’s cool! They probably use the Prinoths over there
Golf course maintenance
That was a 60-65% grade.
That’s what I was guessing too.
Thats a zweet little truck Brandon, i can see tha5 truck coming in clutch on a lot of jobs, concrete demo if you gotta move it across the property, hell ma6be drive it threw the WH LMAO 🤣🤣 get rid of the liberals, haha, swamps would definitely be awesome to try it in, thanks for sharing man🇺🇲💪✊🤙👍 you could easily weld steel sides on it an extension an it would handle it no problem
It would be perfect for that 🤣 it definitely needs some side boards
How would you compare it to a 3yd wheel loader?
Obviously it can't load itself. But if you already have other equipment that could load it, is it worth the cost savings over a wheel loader?
@@sccolbert I would say no. This truck is $128k and all it does is haul where a wheel loader is the same money or more you can do so much more with a wheel loader. And a wheel loader is probably quicker than this truck.
Why is the bed narrower than the tracks? That looks like a mess all over the tracks and under the cab waiting to happen. Like Takeuchi, I have a homemade RC model TL12V2 sitting on my desk. I just don't see what Takeuchi is getting at with this one.
Yeah I’m not sure why the bed is so small either.
What laser level do you use
I’ve got a Top Con rl-h4 right now
Is this machine made by Tak or a rebadge?
I believe it’s built by Tak but I would have to check into that. I know Yanmar pretty much has the same thing but the controls are different but I thought it was a tak machine
Whats the cost for a week renting that thing?
It’s $1500 a week. Truck cost $128k to buy
@@eliteearthworksllc Thank you for that information.
They need a smaller one
@@johndorazio3759 smaller than this one? I guess it could be handy in some places
SODBUSTER,,What the phik ya got there?bisexual dumper?!!
🤣🤣 yep
Durt Perfuct &Stubby,,probably tickling tonsils,in the back
