  • Before summer's gone, DIY this fun pool noodle mesh sling seat from a laundry bag! I was able to build this using materials I already had on hand, but this can be made for under $5 since the only materials you definitely need are pool noodles and a mesh laundry bag. In the video, I show two methods to assemble the seat. The Snap Kam kit method is my favorite because the snap buttons are so convenient, but if you don't want to get the kit I show a second method that is cheaper. If you prefer, you could even sew this project together.

That group of deer come through just about every day, and it's exciting to watch the little ones grow!

Ooh, using a toy net is a smart idea too! I was talking with my sister about how we wished we still had the float our grandparents got us years ago, and she had the idea to use a laundry bag. But I'm really glad she had that idea and I was able to come up with a way to replicate it. ☺️

Since I don't have laundry bags I'll use some leftover hard mesh from a past cosplay

Is there a reason u didn’t include Velcro as an option? Wondering if it doesn’t dry well or loses ability to stick once in water, over time? I ❤video & am now a big fan! Thanks for the help pretty girl. This will cost me more as I’m purchasing a few tools for 1st time. Reviews for the many floating noodle chairs I found were all terrible so making exactly what I want/need makes the $$ I spend worth it …along with satisfaction of doing it myself!(w/ ur guidance & input to assist, of course) Please lemme know what u have learned , over ur crafting experiences, about the Velcro as a method to use straps to attach mesh laundry bag ( as seat which I’m astounded that I didn’t think of myself…. Ur simplicity is brilliant) to noodles . Sincerely, thank u again!

The main reasons I went with the snap clips is because that's what I had on hand and they were simple to attach. But velcro sounds like it could be a great option too! It might take a little ore time because it would require sewing the pieces to the netting. But that might make for even easier on/off over the pool noodle.
