Honestly can’t say enough amazing things about Vessi 👟 Yeah, we are so grateful there are ma’am mandates in place here-if not, things could have been reeeal bad, since Seoul is very densely populated. We just wish we could do outdoor activities like riding our bikes (away from crowds) without masks in the near future 🤞

Ontario had the same weather fluctuations too. 22 degrees one day and then down to 6 degrees the next. It’s so much harder adjusting when it’s so drastic. Stay warm 🥰🥘

Oh man! I was having stomach problems for a year and I thought that I was just all of a sudden sensitive to literally every food (just thought it was something you deal with in your 30s haha). Finally got tested for h pylori and turns out that’s what I had. If that ends up being what you’re struggling with the meds are no joke. (Two antibiotics and an acid reducer). Make sure to take/drink probiotics while you take them. Amazing the night and day difference in my stomach now though. So glad I finally got that figured out.

I could add you should take probiotics daily even if you don't have stomach issues!! Also good to take care of your gut health! :)

It was so refreshing to experience some different scenery ☺️ Tbh, I wouldn’t say there’s much ‘wildlife’ in Seoul, as it’s so heavily populated. Maybe just pigeons and magpies 😅 You’d have to go into the mountains or out to rural areas to see more wildlife. We once saw a deer outside of Kyuho’s grandpa’s house 🦌
Gotta say even though I am fully vaccinated, I still mask up even outdoors. I'll let my guard down a little if there is no one around a hiking trail or something like that.

Super super love the autumn season. Just looking at some of the yellow foliage makes me want to cry.............I vow to be back in Korea next fall. PS It is still mandatory for us to be masked up when we venture outside even though we had attainted more than 80% population vaccination rate a few months ago. It has been almost 2 years (since Feb 2020) since we first masked up......... but looking at the positive side most of us do not get sick (common cold especially) as often as when we were unmasked previously. Also! That apple crumbles, I find it better to have a feijoa and rhubarb crumble. It's exactly the same just take out the apple for the other 2. And vanilla ice cream is still the best with it.

Lol welcome to Canada weather. The apple crisp goes with weather. Lol.
Super easy to do. Peel and cut apples and put in bottom of casserole dish or pie plate. You can mix one to one brown sugar and flour or as Sarah did, do half oats and half flour. I also add in cinnamon. Then cut in some butter to make it crumbly. Throw that on top of apples and bake in 350 degree farenheit oven for an hour or so. Certain apples are best. Ones that break down a little when cooked like Jonathan's or Macintosh. I've been using apples that I can pick from trees that no one else wants because of the way they look.
I had ulcers last year and got treated for h-pylori also, I know the feels.

The weather has been nuts here in Texas. We had like really cool weather in the morning. I had to get my heater ready to go for a few days. Then it went up until in the 90's, it'll be like that for a few more days. Then it drops into the 70's and real cool at night. It's nuts. I just pray we don't have what happened in February again. Nearly froze to death. Pipes bursting. We still haven't had the grind working right. I can't wait to see yalls trip.

Sorry about the continued gut problems. Recent research has targeted carbohydrates as the root cause of most gut diseases. An elimination diet will provide relief. Eliminate all foods but fish, meat, cheese and eggs for about a month or so and you'll feel much better. We did the urea breath test, and it now supposedly has the highest diagnostic accuracy. It’s advanced quite a bit over the last several years :)
Hi Kyho and Sarah 😊- Just curious… I have no plans to move to Korea. Are vaccines required at public schools and universities if you want to work there or study there? What about private companies?

They will very likely be mandatory at schools (and most other professions, if not all) once November hits. No idea about exemptions, but it would likely have to be a serious medical condition or allergy.
Ugh hope you don’t have h.pylori. I had it a few months ago and the medication was rough on my GI tract, but everyone’s body is different

I do have one question. Is there a particular women's shoe from Vessi that you'd recommend for wearing in snow and winter weather? I'm always searching for warm shoes with good gripping ability because, as I'm sure Sarah can relate to, in New York in the winter, if we get snow, it tends to get icy as well (similar to Canada, I think). With the discount, I might just go for it and get myself a pair. I don't usually spend that much money for a pair of shoes, but perhaps it's time I treat myself to one pair and see how I like them. they certainly look amazing on you. (PS. I think my Function of Beauty order should arrive tomorrow... so excited! Now what do I do with all those other shampoos and conditioners I have? LOL)
Ohhh, that’s a tough choice, but I’d personally have to recommend either the Everyday Shoe or the new Everyday Move shoe for winter weather :) I mean, they’re all fantastic with the same technology, but I like that the ankle bit comes up a little higher and snugger with these shoes so no snow gets it 😁

Honestly, these sneakers are going to replace pretty much every type of shoe you own, for every season. They’re super robust too-my sneakers from last year are still in excellent shape! Keep us updated what you think of them-we’re curious! 😁

Not that we’ve heard of. Only for people visiting family here or on urgent business-and you have to be fully vaccinated and take 3 tests in total.
