CA vs CMA, CA vs CS, CA vs CFA, CA vs MBA, CA vs ACCA - why do every course needs to be compared with CA? Although there are tons of interviews stating why one should opt for other finance/accounting courses, but are they really secure and proud about their job? I'm pursuing CA along with business and I don't have the quest for comparing CA with other random courses. The thing is, even those overachivers know they can't crack CA final in one go...
ICAI is the oldest one in India, that's why !

I’m gonna attempt CA foundation in June 2024, it’s not my long term goal to become a CA or CMA but I’m doing it cuz of parents pressure and for financial stability as I’ve been advices to secure a job first for a stable income then build on your real goals.
Could you share with me why you think CMA is better than CA? And which one takes longer to complete?
Can I work on my real goals while studying CMA/CA ??
@@alpacapaca167 Hi. Its good to know about our likewise Mentality. My also Long term Goal was to not do any 9-5 job . So I choose CMA (as it takes comparatively less time time than CA ) . Coz I want to achieve Career stability till a certain age and then work on my Other Goals (Startup or any other business) . I don't want to spend my whole life on a Single course . Along with my CMA Journey am focusing on other Income sources such as I have a UA-cam channel , Instagram Channel with the name CMA Hub . I am earning by doing promotions & selling notes etc. Overall conclusion is you can go for CA or CMA , both are best . But It depends how much time of your life you want to spend on these courses and What are your Long Term Goals .

The difference in exposure between CMAs and CAs is due to the nature of their work environments. CMAs excel in large corporates and manufacturing companies, often in industrial areas, focusing on cost management and operational efficiency. CAs, on the other hand, can serve smaller businesses and provide services like tax advice, which doesn’t always require the specialized skillset of a CMA and are able to set up small firms in cities and towns and gets more exposure. For example, Sharma ji might care more about tax advice for his shares rather than the operational bottlenecks of a manufacturing plant, which are crucial for a CMA to handle. Both roles are essential, but they serve different purposes and expertise areas."

One of my seniors had campus placement of 35lakhs in 2018 in CA so don't exaggerate any course too much . Here, I don't want to offend anyone but it's the harsh truth , your package depends upon your skills and knowledge .
