Sir, i just want to say that your content are clear and really wonderful to watch. You look so professional and enthusiast to what you're doing. It's bring happiness to see videos like yours, I wish happy and healthy for you Sir and your teams.
Could you do a video on what basic tools you need for minor motorcycle maintenance? such as oil change, removing fuel tank to access air box for checking and cleaning, chain tension adjustment. I think will help a lot of people for DIYing their own daily checkups to prevent major damages to their bike in future. many love ❤❤
Love these videos. So informative. Didn't know anything about Waff clearance. But the dirty air filter and throttle bodies opened my eyes. New maintenance unlocked
Ah okkkk VALVE! I was gonna google waff to see what it means 😅 Thanks for the video la. The throttle body and responsiveness is awesome 👌. I didn't really understand what are those small shimmies you measured.
There are 2 types of iridium spark plugs in the market. The normal one for 60k km while the laser iridium up to 100k km. Thanks for sharing on the importance of valve clearance
Mantap bang info.. baru saya faham apa itu valve clearance.. kalau dpt buat video mcm ni dalam Malay okay juga 👍.. info mcm ni berguna utk org yg nak tahu apa yg perlu jaga kalau ada impian nk pakai big bike.. dapat sekali kesedaran, mampu ke atau tak mampu nak bela jika beli 😄
Bergantung model... Some latest model does require to disconnect the battery terminal, itu pon bukan sebab setting lari... Cuma ecu akan detect open circuit yg akhirnya akan sebabkan engine light naik atas dashboard. Kebanyakan model lama tak perlu... Sbb die tak restore open circuit...
The filler gauge are bought from SATA oficial store.. the torque wrench are also sata/beta product and calibrated some are once a year some are every twice a year by a third party calibration company... And yes most of our precision tool are calibrated... It all depends on frequency of tool usage
salam abg AK. usually we’ll service our toy around 5/6k but somehow manual book claimed to service every 12k. i knw the facts that eo quality is becoming kinda tar black at around 5k mil, and i wonder if we can still push it till the max 12k mil with it. can you put some comments onto this?
Wasalam.. THIS IS the difference in advice about oil change intervals between motorcycle manufacturers or manual and oil producers or mechanics. It usually boils down to several key factors which I believe could be due to 1 Optimized for Normal Conditions: Manufacturers typically base their recommendations on average or "normal" usage conditions. These recommendations are designed to ensure the engine performs well for most riders under standard conditions, like moderate temperatures and non-aggressive riding. 2 -Marketing and Competitive Reasons: Longer service intervals can be marketed as a benefit of lower maintenance costs, which may appeal to customers. 3- Synthetic Oil Compatibility: Many manufacturers assume you’ll be using high-quality synthetic oils, which have better longevity and can handle extended intervals compared to mineral oils. Oil producers and mechanics tend to recommend more frequent oil changes as a safer approach to maintaining engine health. This advice provides a buffer to account for varying riding conditions that might be more severe than "normal." -Riding Style and Environment: If you ride in harsh conditions (like stop-and-go traffic, dusty environments, or very hot or cold temperatures), or have a more aggressive riding style, oil degrades faster due to higher engine stress. Mechanics often see engines in these conditions and therefore recommend more frequent changes. - Oil Degradation: Over time, engine oil can break down due to thermal cycling (heating and cooling) and contamination from combustion byproducts. When the oil becomes dark and thick, it indicates it is loaded with contaminants, and its lubricating and cooling properties have diminished, which could lead to increased engine wear. -Oxidation: Heat causes the oil to oxidize and break down, especially under heavy load or high-rev riding.. Changing your oil every 5,000 km can be seen as a preventive maintenance step to ensure optimal engine health, especially if you ride in harsh conditions or push your bike hard.
I change my ER6n & ZX25R oils every 3k km just to be safe. Granted i ride most of the days on very hot humid days and lots of traffic jam. Especially zx25r has high rpm engine. Oils are cheap, engines aren't.
One of the better mechanics on youtube!
patut abg dah jadi pomen motogp dah.. bukan semua pomen boleh sekiping
