hello! I have this rod too.I bought it for about 12 dollars. Even though it was cheap, the product was very good. It's also in my video, but it's probably in Japanese so I don't think it's clear, but I'm fishing with that rod! The kanji word for ``魔影'' means phantom in Chinese. There is a III from the same manufacturer, but that one is better and cheaper! My channel also reached 1000 people! Thank you for your continued support as a friend who uses Chinese tackle.
I have the 5 6, and I love it. I do have to be careful as the rod loads up with 1/32nd Oz. If I whip it too hard, or don't account for wind it can throw a bird's nest at me (Hic50 and Aurora reels used). I specifically use it with inline spinners and 2 g crankbaits catching large bluegill and spotted bass in South Carolina. The short fat cork handle has made this my favorite rod in the hand compared to AH Venom and Delicacy.
Yea the handle is good, just like the creek dance. I hate split grips on shorter rods, though I got one for my kid which he 2 handed casts. You the casting stroke would need to be a little different compared to slower rods like AG venom and Delicacy
I’m not sure to be honest but rods 5’6 and under should have short handles as it’s all one handed casting. Do you mean the stream king? If so the. I think this one is a tad longer
@yep.fishing yeah I've got the 5"6 kingdom stream king. Handles really short, it'd be OK for a baitcaster but I still reckon it's too short for a spinning setup. But if this is a bit longer that'd be nice. For example the short daiwa presso's have a way longer handle
I have the 4'9 stream king and the handle is a nice size for a bait caster. The Purelure Creek Dance may be a nice option too. Handle is definitely a little longer but still not long enough to use with a 2nd hand.
Is this rod faster and more stiff than mavllos delicacy (solid tip)? Delicacy is way too soft for me, so trying to find something better suited for wobblers
From what people are saying the longer versions are more slow action than the 4'6 so I'm not sure I can really compare it. Mavllos Ultima will be to your liking, definitely faster and more backbone.
Are there any budget rods similar to the mavllos plume? I got mine on Amazon but it snapped. The replacement came broken too so i'm reluctant on ordering any mavllos rods now.
Wow that’s bizarre. My mavllos rods from Aliexpress are always in a PVC tube. I wonder if they are shipped from different places? Some this that isn’t quite as light is the one with the scorpion on the handle. I did an unboxing on it. Also the stature zacco is similar.
@@yep.fishing Thanks for the quick response. The rods I got off Amazon were packaged in a plastic wrap by itself, so yeah the packaging was lackluster for a rod. Cant help but think the quality might be off too.
Mavllos rods are probably the most popular and famous of the low end budget rods. But most people are getting them from aliexpress. I’ve had 5 mavllos rods and all had a PVC tube.
@@yep.fishing Amazon doesn't have great shipping practices. I got it off amazon cause it was cheaper for me and faster shipping. At least I got to return it without any hassle.
@@yep.fishing I primary only fish saltwater and a lot of ajing stuff my favorite rod is the resolute cause it casts so far I even find myself out casting spinning users with 2g lures
Sorry about the camera not being focussed at times. I will try and change the auto focus setting for the next unboxing

Thanks! I will subscribe!
That blank is incredibly thin at the base! Impressive build for $22 🤯
Very impressed. Will get one for my son in spinning
This is some serious bang for buck, paired with the AA nham nham!
They look good together too

Nice looking rod reasonably price I may give it a try . Thanks for the video.
No problem 👍
Nice looking rod and what a terrific price point.
Amazing price, couldn't buy a rod in a tackle store for under $100 better than this
It’s really amazing how cheap this rod is
Has to be the best rod at that price point
Good rewiew.
Thanks mate
Ive got the kingdom stream heart in 5"6 spinning but i find the handle too short. Does this have a longer handle? Prob looking at 5 foot

@yep.fishing I've grabbed this one in 5 foot. Hard not to for 22 bucks. Cheers mate

If you buy from aliexpress choice store it’s meant to be 7 days delivery. Temu also has some stuff
I use this rod for tarpon fishing i found the tip too fast and soft for casting lures around 1 gram
I find it easier to cast light. Easier to load just the tip area than lower down in the rod. But this rod I’d be casting mostly hard lures around 5-7g

@liamtapispisan8146 the long resolute is a nice budget long rod for sure
