Got Ventura running on this HP but the resolution is stuck at 1024 X 768. Also there seems to be different models with the same name (mine has one of the 35 watt 6500T CPUs). My Elitedesk 800 G3 also has DisplayPort and VGA instead of the HDMI. Not sure if this is the issue, but even the VGA is stuck at at the same resolution. Tried on a 4K monitor too. Very disappointing to spend to so much time to get only VGA resolutions. This guy has practically the same PC but did not mention the 1024 X 768 resolution unless I did something wrong when naming the PC model. I didn't know what to use so I used macmini8,1. The PC has the Intel 530 GPU so maybe I have to choose an older version of Mac OS.
I bought a costomized EFI for Big Sur. Hoever, the installation went into a loop. I sent several emails to Mike and never got a response. Finaly, I found a solution by installing Mojave first and then I upgraded to Big Sur.

On the other hand, I cannot get the menu with the icons during boot, even with the opencanopy driver, the resource files, and the "pickermode on external" in the config.plist. Oh... was trying to make Mojave installer on a M1 Mac Mini. (sigh). Which turns out does not work. So, will try the Windows method. Which is hilarious Apple forks over users on simply being able to build an installer. Will try to do Big Sur installer just to have. Argh.

Yeah I don't recommend using the new download method for the installation files. Especially if your planning to use Catalina. I just wasted about 8 hours trying all the different versions but I kept getting the well known "installation failed" message with 2mins left on install. I tried modifying dates and everything. I then downloaded the installer direct from apple via the Apple store, made a bootable usb and didn't bother changing dates... it worked perfectly . I done some more digging through the package contents of the failed installers to see they had verification issues.
I swear its only in videos that these hacks work because I have tried 3 different macs and honestly I dont get any further than having to finally put it on a usb
First of all, sweetie, that third display port is NOT an HDMI port. That port is a picture of a daughter board port. It can be changed. Wow. Finally. Yes. Hackintoshes can be made for profit in most parts of the USA and various countries in Europe. It's because of the doctrine of Fair Use. That's why money can be made of selling ads on videos showing you HOW to Hackintosh. It also covers selling a hackintosh computer providing the client has the ability to legally obtain the hardware and a copy of the software. You're not selling the software. You're selling your hardware and software setup expertise. If I were to do this, client would need to supply the software for a hackintosh. Apple's EULA is not law and cannot overwrite many parts of law. The courts in the USA have ruled that Apple's EULA cannot limit Fair Use in this manner. The issue would arise if the client cannot supply a legally obtained copy of the software which Apple gives away for free to those of their user base that have also purchased compatible hardware. One could argues that if the user of a Hackintosh also doesn't own official hardware capable of running their Hackintosh version that this is wrong. @@markkociscin695 I followed the best I could to get the system to boot, the issues I had with power management... I kinda just tinkered till I got it to work. I'm not really sure what did it. It was 5 months ago and have since moved to a MacBook Pro. So I can't really remember.

Hi mate! Great video :) i've been trying it on my Chuwi CoreBox (i5-8259u), but once done the job, Mac Os doesn't detect natively graphic card (Intel Iris Graphics 655), showing only 7mb of VRam (that's why it's laggy). Any hint about this problem? Thank you so much!

Add boot arg to NVRAM: -wegnoegpu and it will use the intel graphic only
why are us charging for this, this is a shame.
