Most of Sweden would buy your V70 (it's a second gen?) without a doubt. That inline 5 is so nice! P2 cars have their problems but it was the last one designed 100% by Gothenburg (of course, many other Swedish suppliers were involved) before Ford came and ruined a lot of things.
Oh OK that transmission cross member was the item with surface rust. LOL in the last vid. In fact ROTFL. You were lucky the two remaining bolts held. But that is what is great about the 240. In many important places they are over built. And you said it was reliable. These are the reasons to love your 240. Have fun.
Those Virgos add a nice touch to the 240, The Coronas, look awesome on the wagon,👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👌👌👌👌👌👍👍👍👍how about a rear spoiler on the trunk, a rear reflector that goes between the 2 lights

Hey mate, Bob here from Belgium....i opened my white starterrelay....it has 2 coils inside , when u energize the 2 coils get energised and 30pin and 2 others connect...do you know in your schematics you have, what 2 functions they activate, one is fuelpump? The other?.....in other words, what exactly doesnt work by failure of this component.....i guess also one of the coils can die, the other still lives...can u help me out here?
@@mikezags0816 of you search JPvolvo on Facebook you’ll find me. My father and I share the account but there’s lots of great forums and groups on there. Lots of information!
Also i found yr connecting fuze 4 with fuze 6 interesting...when i do that, i only have action on left side, which i think is intankpump...the right side doesnt give me any noice,....so i guess my pump under the driverseat doesnt work, and could this be the reason my spark dont get activated from the coil?volvo shuts down the spark, i ve read, when fuelpump is at fault? Where did u find wiringdiagram ? Mine is 2,3l bf motor, year 91, thanks brother, like yr content!
Connecting those 2 fuses should cause the fuel pump to run so if you get nothing then it’s most likely the fuel pump that has gone bad. They can run quite well without the in tank pump but the in line fuel pump is more important and the car will not run without it
@@jpvolvo4592 i did that today, and the in linefuel pump under driver gets activated! But i fear my spark is not fixed...is there a same sort of fix to make the spark ? By bridging manually?
Was the transmission oil changed, after all it has a lot of miles, did you check the gearshift componentsae, or synchronizer, they could be worn, also check the clutch, the adjustment, have the transmission out, just in case, Good Luck.

Can you maybe explain what you mean with that Ford ruined a lot of things? Quality?
your channel is exactly what i was looking for

Great job, man! I need to get those same wheels you got! Looking sharp.

Ready to buy!
But the most impressive thing is that you got the car that had been smashed in the front, I see you have the European license plates also, nice touch.
Was wondering if you still had the 240. I’m glad you still got it.
It is here to stay until at least 300k miles!

I missed these videos so much man
I think the alloys on the V70 are Polar alloys. Rare I think. Don't let them go easily.
Hope you’ll make a new video soon

Lovely exhaust note at the end. Stock exhaust?
I have a resonator delete and replaced the stock muffler with a cherry bomb. I show it briefly in this video.
I did not know that Cherry Bomb still existed
What's the deal with German plates on the cars ? Seen more then plenty of Volvo's from the states with those
To be honest I’m not sure. The reason I have it is just to have a European plate for looks.
How about the emergency brake, that should be done, whe you do the brakes.
Hey man. I’m on LI and am eyeing a local 240. Was love to pick your brain on it.
Sure. Ask me any questions you’d like!

Well this one is automatic but I had the tranny fluid changed when I bought it because I had to drop the pan and replace the shift cable
Hey cutie pie....
