I'm going to be very honest, I think Collignon is the best, and I hate the snake shot, but this guy Spredeman is amazing, the control he has with his wrist deserves credit, it's extremely difficult to control the ball as he does, faking to one side, compared to the front pin shot, where is easier to do that with the palm of the hand. For me the best players are these two guys no question about it. I have seen this match many times, I enjoy seeing these two masters playing against each other.
farking awesome!!!..another spredeman vid!!..woot woot.. i love the way spredeman plays when he would just explodes..his 5 bar skills is amazing to watch..and he is definitely one of the most exciting players to watch..tic tac 5 bar stick pass..really good vid..
Rico is always intimidated by him on Tornado for his 5-bar. But his game is so effective on all tables. A brush and chip pass, front pin, and 2-5 pass can work on all tables. But Tony's unique 5-bar can't really be applied on Euro tables due to the shape of the men, he'll def lose the ball. I heard he uses a near-side brush series. IMO, Tony should go far wall brush on the other tables since he's superior in reading defense on the far wall. A far wall stick option series could work, right?
Seems like you can hear the action on the table (pinning, catching passes, goals, etc) much better on this video compared to other InsideFoos foos videos. Have they changed how they mic the matches? I really like it.
There’s know one on earth who can truly hold spreadimans tool belt his five man is like know other and his pull kick is crazy ridiculous very humble man also
Collignon is a better overall player. Spredeman is just dominant on Tornado tables, but he can't transfer his skills to other tables like Collignon can. FC is the GOAT.
Then you'd be wrong - the ball was never stopped or pinned after contacting the man closer to him, it was kept moving (albeit for a long time) and he was therefore free to pass it. (I'm an official referee, believe it or not.)
Can you explain this ruling for new players like myself? I'm getting my first table tomorrow. It seems like the pass was perfect because it was clean. Is that not the purpose, to pass from bar to bar without being caught by the opponent's players? Sorry if I seem foolish, but I'm really interested in learning the rules. Thanks!
It's not illigal, since he never stops it/ pins it. He passes it from the nearest 2-bar, and keeps it in motion on the fourthest - and therefore it's legal
As Im watching this, something kept bugging me about the audio and I just realized what it is. They're at World;s and you hear no other shooting in the background. You usually always hear tons of other games going on. Did they suspend playing on other tables while this match went on?
i dont know because i wasnt there, but i once played a big turnament , where the main table was in another room where the audience and the cameras could see from all sides. Maybe it was the same here
tassay I hear what you're saying, but I don't believe it to be the case in this video. I live in the Dallas/Fort Worth area, only 25 minutes from where they used to hold the World's tournaments. I've been to several and I don't recall them ever having a separate room there. Now I didn't go to every one of them. so it's possible Im wrong about that. But I think it very unlikely. The other possibility is that sometimes the Doubles and Singles final championship matches will go late into the last day of the tournament. And it's likely they have started packing the rest of the tables up.
I wonder is he naturally lefthanded? TS is like Nadal to Federrer. Proving that FC CAN be outplayed by skill - no tby pure luck And it actually to the benefit of FC too - there's someone to compete with on regular basis)
I was never a fan of the 3 man bar "pinch shot". I never got very good at it, but I can block the majority, where they can't block the majority of my multiple shots. The only place these guys kill me, is 5 man passing. Even if I can make more 3 man shots than they can, (back when I was peaking), you can't make the shot if you can't make the 5 man pass to the 3 man bar.
They should ban snake shots on all foosball tables. Collignon refuses to use them cuz he considers it cheating. It's like a noob spinning the bar around. But if they ever ban those idiotic shots nobody would ever beat FC anymore. In 2007 Collignon didn't lose a single match and he played Spredeman 11 times that year!
anc can you give a reason for banning them. spinning is not allowed because its just luck if the ball goes into the goal but you are not gonne telling me that spredemans snakes are lucky. it might be easyer to learn the snakes buts much more difficult to master them
Oh quit your whining. Snake shot is legal and legit. It's not my favorite shot be any means. I prefer Collignon's front pin or Loffredo's pull shot. "Spinning is defined as the rotation of any soccer figure more than 360 degrees before or more than 360° after striking the ball. In calculating the 360° you do not add the degrees spun prior to striking the ball to the degrees spun after striking the ball." Collignon and Loffredo prove without a doubt you can have a different shot as your money maker. Collignon refuses to use a snake because his front pin is awesomely brilliant. And all the top snake shooters can shoot several other shots. Moore has a wicked pull shot from goalie. He can shoot that from front also. Spredeman can shoot several different shots also. There are other reasons to why the elite champions win on a regular basis. The money maker shot is not the main reason. Reading the defense, timing, execution of shots under pressure, passing from the 5-row under pressure. Catching and snagging those loose balls flying around more than your opponent to get extra attempts from the 3-row. Knowing your opponents. Collignon and Loffredo the best all-time players because of their mental game, not their physical game.
@asozialette doing the same trick over and over again consistently = performance and hard training... trust me, i'm playing for two years now and i'm light years far away from these guys...
rico dominates everyone else on the other tables becuase he plays on the other tables. Nothing against rico its just that too much is made of it. We dont play on 10 differant tables.
@jagiar If your grammar and spelling were accurate, this would have been an erudite comment. I'm sorry, but the use of big words does not make you appear intelligent without proper usage.
What genius picked the absolute worst spot for a foosball match? Was a library or church not available? I'm sure the sound deading carpet didn't throw off the contestants in the littlest bit. This is like hosting a chess tournament in a daycare. They should have laughed, picked up the table and moved to a local bar or bowling alley, Like the places a foosball match should be played.
THE RULES HAVE GONE OUT THE WINDOW!! MATE STOPPING THE BALL IS A FOUL ,ALL THE SKILL SHOTS ARE ALL FOULS PERIOD , HOW DID IT GET TO BE A GAME OF REPEATING STOP & GO & FOUL TO SCORE!!!!!!!!
The rule I hate is not serving the ball through the side wall hole. True, you can serve the ball to yourself, (make the ball roll to your bar), but you can still mess it up. Just giving the ball to the other player reminds me of socialism in some respect,---and I hate any form socialism with a passion. Heck, if I go out to eat, and the server share tips with the other employees, (socialism), I write my server a check for the tip, to cash at her/his bank. I did not get any service from the others.
I can respect the skill, but when I was growing up there were two kinds of way to play. Fastball and this garbage. Passing within the same bar was a big NO NO. We called it Jits and it was about rebounds and catching angles with the 3 bar. I'd love to see these guys in a game of fastball. This is WAAAAY to slow.
Really Guy, If you were thrown in the mix( so two against one) with either of these guys with any rules that you wanted. You would still be on the losing team. More than like likely your teammate would ask you to bow out.
The level of foosball play from both these two is just off the charts. If you've played (and I did) they both are jaw dropping.
I love the gameplay from spredemann. It makes so much fun to watch him. Its my favriot player.

You really need to watch all 7 games to get a feel for Tony's dominant performance. It was unbelievable watching this live.

lol man, when i play i just hope i hit the ball in the right direction
I'm going to be very honest, I think Collignon is the best, and I hate the snake shot, but this guy Spredeman is amazing, the control he has with his wrist deserves credit, it's extremely difficult to control the ball as he does, faking to one side, compared to the front pin shot, where is easier to do that with the palm of the hand. When you can control the snake shot you will like it as it promises success 😁
I watched this match live through netfoos, RIDICULOUS FOOSBALL, have to get me the dvd soon :-)
speechless... what a great match... best match i seen so far on youtube
farking awesome!!!..another spredeman vid!!..woot woot..

This is why I like singles better! WAY more action going on at a time than with doubles.
I consider myself a pretty good foosball player but these guys are on another level with ball movement and timing this is very high level foosball
this needs a hi speed camera and LOTS of slow mo replays, cause i can't see crap.
THIS IS RIDICULOUS.... Truly outstanding players... I've seen some dudes play and are impresive, but DAMN these guys are good
yeah, it's a bounce pass at crazy speed!
TONY!!! representing WI!!!
spredeman is so much fun to watch!

that was a perfectly executed pass......
though I admit they have made themselves legends with it
Then you'd be wrong - the ball was never stopped or pinned after contacting the man closer to him, it was kept moving (albeit for a long time) and he was therefore free to pass it. (I'm an official referee, believe it or not.)
TONY plays even better in the second match
That kid is hella good!
Can you explain this ruling for new players like myself? I'm getting my first table tomorrow. It seems like the pass was perfect because it was clean. I lik the 5 bar pass from spredeman 🖒
Sick-ass pass on 3:40. I couldn't see it!
Snake shot has killed this game as an spectator's sport
Nope. All legal shots are kick ass.
Good playar
First game where I see collignon losing..! And i've watched him a lot!
Who’s here from Charlie’s video
yup
It's not illigal, since he never stops it/ pins it.
He passes it from the nearest 2-bar, and keeps it in motion on the fourthest - and therefore it's legal
yea i know lolz.. i even came back to watch this
Tony's record on Tornado vs Rico is pretty good....better than Billy's record. But Billy has Tony's number tho. Did Billy get third on Open Singles?
As Im watching this, something kept bugging me about the audio and I just realized what it is. They're at World;s and you hear no other shooting in the background. You usually always hear tons of other games going on. Did they suspend playing on other tables while this match went on?

The "Final" means everybody else has been eliminated.
HAHAHAHAHAH the kid is wearing gloves, that's adorable.
What the referee is timing at?
you are only allowed to keep the ball for 15 seconds on one row. then you need to pass or shoot
@jagiar Well, it still is only foosball...
Who won the second set ?
at 0:26, he had a straight shot for at least 2 seconds, why didnt he take it
Because he was leaving that strait as bait. These guys try to make you shoot the ball where they want you to shoot.
I like the defense of Collignon.
Why have I watched this...
I wonder is he naturally lefthanded?
TS is like Nadal to Federrer.

Wua tuet voi
The winner took $4000, not too bad for a weekend's "work".
because spredeman was trying to lure him there so he could block it.
why they keep stopping the ball? i always played without stopping,
and how many world champion titles do you have? Each of the players in the video has some, and maybe one of the reasons is, that they stop the ball.
tassay Savage!
Only in america.

Could be, but there's no denying that Collignon is the G.O.A.T.
have you ever seen billys / Spredemans pullshot? they are fucking incredible
Oh quit your whining. Snake shot is legal and legit. It's not my favorite shot be any means. I prefer Collignon's front pin or Loffredo's pull shot.

Yeah they should ban Inbred mongoloids from posting on You Tube also. Unfortunately I just read you post so that hasn't happened yet.
I love robotics xD
Heard Tony destroyed Todd in the Loser's Final.
I've been undefeated in Foosball for years but these guys would most likely beat me. lol
You would not stand a chance against these experts.
No way! I wonder if he's getting burned out? He's been playing since he was a lil kid. Maybe he's getting bored?
ya he is more interested in guitar hero these days
i guess it would go vice-versa with other ppl. i'm more into foosball than guitar-hero. haha
Abuse of snake shot
Pee-Wee sent me.
THIS would have been an erudite comment? Dont you mean THAT? You dont even understand tenses.

Two to five passing is week I would much rather watch them shoot from back like real men
