I had a 10th gen iPad ua-cam.com/users/postUgkxUGaHtKW8MwCql2fPyIm9-ftTqSMzKFFA . Felt it getting pretty slow at times even after doing a reset. So I am using that as a tablet for my 5 year old son and got this 9th gen version. MUCH faster, a little slimmer, smaller bezels, all around a leap forward. Plus, for the price that’s about $130-$150 cheaper than a current new model this is a nice deal. I look forward to the M-series CPUs coming into iPads which will really help future proof these tablets better but these latest CPUs are pretty strong and should do better to last several years with no compromises.

I'm looking for a new tablet. I had an apple tablet the iPad 2017 (5 generation) with 32 GB but it gave out due to heat. I am now looking for a new tablet with a good resolution , dpi , screen and most importantly for me very good graphics. I don't have a budget and only use the tablet on a solid surface. I am a person who only uses social media , especially twitch , youtune , movies , netflix. which would you recommend to me. I hope you can help me thanks in advance.

Hi Dave, long time viewer here, from the days you used to have layouts for the internals in your laptop reviews. This video with the interpretation of the mini LEDs was amazing and exactly the kind of stuff that has made me not miss a single video of yours. Your new place looks great and the desk setup in this one fits well too!

If they improve multitasking and make software development easy on an iPad then honestly I would be super tempted. What I really want is a MacBook with this screen (touch, high refresh rate, mini led) and a detachable keyboard. Something like Apple's version of the Surface Book would be amazing

Cisco has been doing it for years as well for video conferences.
2014 was when I last used a feature like this
I think they're adding it now considering how common Zoom meetings are nowadays. Back then this was basically a niche feature for most consumers.
Having the table next to you seems to work. It's almost like you're interviewing the product next to you. Also, now we can see that you're not just a really short Dave standing behind the table.

Good explanation for the mini LEDs
For me, the chip performance was not holding it back for me at all for work, that 12x bionic or whatever is so fast. But the what, 2 or 4 gigs of ram killed it. Stuff just gets wiped from ram too often to multitask - a couple tabs with large we pages or a pdf could fill the whole lot, and when you swap away it all needs to reload. 16GB of ram is absolutely huge for usability for work.
I hope we'll get center stage on the upcoming Macbooks
