I didn't name mine, but definitely refer to it as "her" or "she."
When you have trouble finding neutral, pull in the clutch lever, wheel it forward about an inch, and then try again. It works for me everytime. I'm not sure what the mechanics are going on to make that work, but it works. I'd imagine it loosens tension on plates.

in my limited experience, sunglasses do not combat wind when you're going 25mph or higher. And I mainly wear aviators.
