The Most Beautiful Sunrise in Bali: Hiking Mount Batur

Mount Batur is Bali's most popular sunrise trek. Located in the northern part of the island, Mount Batur is a 1700m tall volcano that attracts tourists from across the world to hike and scale the mountainside every morning. We left our hostel at 2am, began the hike by 4:15, and caught sunrise for 6:30. It was honestly the most breathtaking experience of this trip thus far, and I cannot recommend this excursion enough.
