It's utterly profound how little hostile takeovers are explained in depth from a practical standpoint.
First and only video I’ll need to watch after seeing Suits and not getting what a “hostile takeover” took place in their law firm. Also, lemme congratulate you on WRITING BACKWARDS. That’s an amazing ability!
He's writing normally. The image is flipped
Hey paddy, i know this is irrelevant.. But whenever i feel demotivated, your channel always brings me back up. Thank you for that :')
"Succession" brought me here. Thank you!
Lol me too, immediately after episode 9 of the first season
This gets recommended to me right when Elon Musk declines a seat for board of Directors at Twitter..
Here for the same reason
Beautiful video & the previous explanation with Micro Hog is a MUST!
Paddy your probs the best teacher I've ever had. By watching all your videos. I've become a economic expert over night 😂 ..... well in my own mind any ways haha. Thanks for all your easy to understand videos
Hey everyone else trying to find out what Elon is up to
Not me, I'm actually looking into this because my father is going to do this
Great concise explanation!
Very well explained 👏🏽👌🏽
This video earned my subscription :) keep it up!
Donald Nezungai mine too
Holly Cow this is the best explaination ever.
Can someone explain me what is the managerial disciplining theory of a hostile takeover? thank you
When the hostile take over is rejected on all fronts and the instigator still wants the company. Most sensible thing to do is start over again and go through proper channels with a much improved price and alots performance related sweeteners.
It is business nothing is taken personal birds of feather should flock together. Near impossible to execute a hostile take over on company that was founded and operated in hostile environments most of it's existence. It might spark panic at boards but for some companies there are measures in place to insure it just other boring day at the office.
Whoever Wrote that
Seems like a hoot
At parties
Defo wouldn't want
To go near anything
He deems as his
Seems bit territorial
For these anything
And everything goes
Goes times
Probably has valid resons
Diffrent strokes for diffrent
Folks and all that.
simple explanation, thank you
Elon musk’s plan b is a Proxy fight
did he just write backwards at 0:49
Mike Guo Nope. He writes normally from his side so that from our side it looks backwards, and then flips the video horizontally when he's editing it. You'll notice he's writing with his left hand, so he's actually right-handed but looks like that in the video because of the "mirror effect".

@@CStrik3r Is there tutorial for this editing? Thanks
most public companies sell less than 51 percent of their outstanding stock. let alone high voting shares, how do you out vote a majority even if you buy the rest on secondary market?
So this is what the rock was trying to do with the DCEU before Peter Safran and James Gunn took over
Simplicity at its best.
Short and sweet and too the point, thank you!
Thanks for these videos guys!
However, sound is missing at the end of this video
Greetings and Salutations
Ever hear of the event in the
Dog Fir Tunnel??
It definitely was a hostile takeover

I can't beoieve I'm literally studying economics just so I can understand Succession
United States steel brought me here
Shareholder Vote Exchange is the world's first exchange for shareholder voting rights. Shareholders can choose to sell their votes to increase returns.
are you writing on a glass, throughout your presentation, i'm wondering how this would be possible.
Exactly my thought,i think he’s a genius it looks like he was drawing backwards everything he wrote
Notice it appears he is holding his marker in his left hand.
He is probably right handed in reality, and the video is flipped.
Or he is a genius, which is also a possibility
THIS NEEDS TO HAPPEN TO DISNEY
Likelyhood is that a hostile takeover of Disney would require a company with equal to or more resources than Disney. Do you really want a company like China's Tencent or Saudi Arabia's Saudi Aramco or Jeff's Amazon to run Disney?
little bit understandable
Just take it over in the system and banks.
Remove top people.
Do it in supply chain first and in your major company heads. Just delete them.
You should do this together. It is war. Fuck them.
They will cripple you over time if you don't.
They did it to the states for taking production away. They will amp it up overtime but try to always make it hurt.
You have to have people that are able to do these tasks or your country is a risk to yourself and neighbours.
Dont understand why people who found a bussiness wanted to go public !!!
All about cashing out!
Maybe that's their goal, to grow it and then cash out
Not very hostile if I’m honest
