I’ve always said I’m going to change my style into one like Dianne Keaton’s overnight when I hit a certain age. Not sure what age that is, per se.. but it’s going to happen!!
I share wardrobe with my whole small Swedish village! We have a freeshop, though which clothes (books, electronics, citchen stuff...) circulate. It's amazing! A big barn full of clothes, everything for free. I haven't baught anything new for ages. It's so easy to try new styles, and when you're done with something you just give it back! ❤️🔆❤️
Oh my god I know this comment is a year old but this is amazing! I'd love to organize something similar in my town! Do you have any tips on how to start something like this? I think the hardest part here would be to convince people to use other people's clothes... they're so resistant to the idea of second hand clothing unfortunately.
You have such nice clothes, and I would love to see a video on how you care for your clothes and keep them looking new. I keep investing in nice stuff and then it looks old pretty fast. Thanks :)
Taylor Marriott I have the same issue. I buy quality clothing and it looks old. I bought a pair of black jeans 2 weeks ago, Ive worn them a few times and washed. They look like I’ve owned them for years!
I hope you washed them inside out? That helps to keep the colour in denim and do not use dryer to dry your clothes. These easy steps will make you clothes look like new for years. And if they still look old after couple wash, return. This should not happen in quality clothes.
@@neitilusikka also, try to not wash your jeans unless it's absolutely necessary. This is what all sales assistants I've asked have told me. Unless the jeans are brandnew or stained, don't wash them. Just hang them up so smells can fade.
Jenny, I would love to see you make a winter fashion wardrobe for us people who encounter -30 winter days and still want to look fashionable. You might be able to solve this mystery, as a nordic. Sincerely, from Canada
hahah that's an unsolvable mystery i'd say.... but i do like a challenge :P good idea, i'll try making a 'looking hot in the cold' video this winter !! xx
Yes please because whenever you look for winter fashion you always get someone in California throwing on a warm sweater and you're like, uhm no. I need hats, gloves, scarfs and big ass jackets to look chic somehow
It's so funny to see the amount of clothes and layers you wear! Haha! I find them beautiful! But here in Brazil, there is no layering! No sweaters, scarfs, knee high socks or coats most days of the years... So videos with more of a "summer vibe" would be wonderful for me!
@@livamilAVA ^ yes!! but an issue I have noticed is that there isn't a lot of summer clothes in this style or any style I like. I had a hard time keeping my style when going on a vacation to Spain. I'm norwegian so I am always wearing a bunch of clothes, but am lost when it comes to summer since it never comes lol. Get what you mean with the whole America thing tho. Everything is so America centric etc
Estilo cebola paulistana.
I think you should do a video on men's fashion, something a little bit avant garde. And then use that as an excuse to put Mr. Mustard in a skirt! I also love men on skirts and would love to see how you would pair it since I think it's the most difficult part 😊
I'd love to see a video on ethical brands you like to buy from, and which brands you'd reccomend for staple pieces for each body type. I love your style, but I'm very curvy and struggle to find things that fit right.
Lilly Coulter yeah same. Also, curvy women wearing these types of lose items are always seen as slobs, not fashionable 🤔 curious that. We have to perform femininity a lot more strictly to be told we look acceptably pretty
Ah! I knew it! Scarf as skirt... oh man, I've been wearing this for ages and my family always make fun of me, saying I look like a hobo hahaha, maybe I need a clear glasses to top the look 😂🤓
I love wearing black only to help me maintain a minimal wardrobe. It makes shopping a lot simpler and getting dressed in the morning is super easy as everything matches, lol. I express my love of colour in other ways like through my youtube channel and going out in nature.
Jenny, I love your fashion videos and I’d love for you to review fashion styles from instagram and other platforms/pick your favorite fashion instagrammers and hashtags for us to get inspo’ from! It’s so helpful whenever you make these videos and I love that these ideas are versatile. Really allows for creativity when you have a limited closet and you are trying to save money. 💜
Could you make a video where you recommend eco/vegan friendly clothing stores? That would be very informative, I dont really know where to begin looking!
Growing up in Eastern Europe in 80’s/90’s and being 187cm tall I had to shop in men’s departments 😫 - there were no other options🤨 - I used to wear my dad’s wedding jacket as a coat 😋😆 (I was 18 or so)... hm, I might go thrue his clothes again 🤔👍😉
It is incredible how chic you look! One huge thing I learned from your channel is that only because I think something doesn't match that doesn't mean it can't be styled to look incredibly fly :D Thank you for all that inspo
You have an eye for fashion! Your outfits are so stylish and well put together, I can't get enough of your videos and photos. ❤️ My favourite pieces you showed us are the Dr Martens, the glasses and the scarf! I love the idea of using the scarf as a skirt, though I don't know if I would dare to do the same... But I think the second outfit with the blazer would totally do the trick at work! You're a true inspiration Jenny, and you encourage me to be more creative and more at ease with myself and with my personal tastes and to try to incorporate bold pieces that I love in my everyday wardrobe. 😊 Much love from a French girl xxx
Jenny, you and David truly look chic in everything! Thank you for inspiring all of us to try new things and challenge our preconceived notions about personal style.
Love this video! Thanks for the tips, Jenny. I also really enjoyed the pronounced presence of David in this vid. The dynamic between you two is just lovely.
Man I am living for that old jumper/stylish miniskirt/knee socks & Docs outfit. That is such a look! That vintage Fair Isle (or is it Norwegian knit?) pattern feels so current these days.
My mom became a known style rebel at her university in the late 50s/early 60s for wearing flamenco scarves as skirts. You can do it, ladies! And gents, if you dare! Really enjoyed these tips, Jenny; TFP : )
Love this video so much. I have vintage boyfriend blazers, baggy jeans, oversized scarves... now I have some solid tips on how to style my own finds. Thanks Jenny!! Xox
I think you've just converted me from being a retail shopaholic to a high fashion minimalist with just one video. Especially that scarf trick is amazing!! I'm so happy I have the perfect scarf for this already.
The skirt with docs and sweaters is giving new vintage J Crew Model vibes! Loving it and your eye for really pulling a piece together with some small but significant touches!
I started using the Shoptagr app last year; it's amazing. I've been able to purchase several "big ticket" items at a very reduced price without having to continuously check the various websites looking for a sale. I don't think it has made me shop more, rather I now shop smarter. BTW Jenny, I just finished your book, very well done, I really enjoyed it, plus it now looks beautiful on my coffee table. xo
i would love it if you linked to some of the pieces you're wearing! i love that turtleneck it's the exact one i've been looking for (super dark, fitted, sleeves that can actually cover my wrists) and that jumper is so nice!
I was in need of this video I always steal sweaters and jackets from my bf. I don’t love to shop and always keep my clothing for a long time. I loved every second of this video. I wish you could pick some clothes out for me and I could just simply buy online. You have such good style.
Jenny I suffer from super heavy periods, I often have spotting issues, and the skirt scarf tip was invaluable!!! Thank you so much for the Fall Wardrobe styling tips!!
Nice inspiring video :-) i think David would look awesome in a kilt. I love the clothes of my boyfriend. His style is very simple and his pullovers are soooo soft. He ist 30cm taller then me, so everything i snatch is oversized and is perfect for a cute look.
Hi! I love your videos so much! I have a tip for when you put on shirts/sweaters and don’t want your eyebrows to come off or your makeup to transfer onto the fabric. I make sure my hair is down and over my face and then slip the clothing item on. 😊 I hope this helps!
Gweneth Paltrow started that whole scarf as a skirt over your pants back in the early 2000's when the seam of her pants ripped at a premier or something if I remember correctly. That sparked a good season or two of people wrapping their pashminas around their waists. Cool it's back in a way!
I would love to know more about what brands you like, and any shopping tips you may have when you are in the store. I am learning so much from you and David!!
Jenny, fool proof method to convince a boyfriend to wear a skirt: go to Sri Lanka for vacation, wait until he notices all local guys wearing sarong (long skirt), then try to stop him from buying half a dozen sarongs as a loungewear;) Good luck!
Looking more and more gorgeous every day. Currently binge watching all your videos, and I loved you with the platinum blonde as well, but this softer, warmer look is just so my aesthetic, so I'm lovin it :D
Jenny, girl you could pull off anything! Love all the looks! And definitely yes to the scarf skirt, it's a reimagined take on the sarong or lungi! Can you do a whole video on styling boyfriend/husband/men's clothing on women? Love to you and David of course! Xxx
Can you please do a summer wardrobe style? I live in a tropical humid country and it makes no sense to layer up. Please do one on how to style for hot humid weather! Thank you!
Such a nice video again ! Since I watch you I have started to incorporate more experiencing in my wardrobe, and I love to see that a lot of things I would never think could work actually do really well !! You're definitely my biggest fashion and design inspiration, to be honest
I’m going say for a dream person to share a wardrobe is : you my lady and Iris Apfel. As you are minimalist in your style and Iris Apfel is very maxi. But, I am in the middle but having two people form the different stylish plectrum line. Would be so much fun!
I always steal my dad’s clothes hahah, even though he’s like XL in men’s and I’m XS in women’s. I’m a short little Asian girl while he’s a big White guy. But it works, I love to steal his shirts and socks! He can’t steal clothes from me though. Älskar dina videos förresten
I LOVE THE CLEAR GLASSES! I found them really stylish even if years ago I didn't appreciate them because they were usually used by the girls that wanted to make a nerd aesthetic, but without being really nerd or gamer . And now I find myself really appreciating them into a personal style choice and I would love to try them, but I'm scared that I would look stupid with my friends that know I don't need them for sight problems - I hope that in the future I'll stop worrying too much about others' opinions and just try what I may like on myself! Also big thank you for all the ! I will keep in mind how useful is the turtleneck and how I could use eventually my future fake glasses ; ) And I clearly need a boyfriend in order to follow the "steal the boyfriend's clothes" tip. (more probably I will just steal everything to my young (15yo) and huge (190cm, I think is 6'2'' in ft) brother and be free to get a girlfriend) P.S.: I felt somehow relaxed by all the noises of the floor, it was a sort of ASRM experience for me P.P.S.: David please give us joy and wear a skirt
Ha ha I share a wardrobe with my daughter (which isn't as tacky as it sounds) I tend to go quite classic and she is quite tomboy, so she nicks my stuff when she wants to look a bit classy and I Nick her stuff when I want to make my look a bit cooler 🤓😍💯
What is up with work out wear and fancy clothes? It is cute....😊I don’t know if I can pull it off though... also I think oversize wear is cool. I tend to be more boho.... and have a bootie and oversize has to be “cut” a certain way to to not make me look round.... you can pull off the scarf skirt. 70s inspired.... with your “90” gold bling.....
I steal all my boyfriends shirts and tuck them in, also my brothers. And my boyfriend stole a shirt and then a flannel from me once up to a time. I personally think wardrobe sharing is really fun, especially for oversized pieces. Also when you and the person you're sharing with are almost the same size, like someone is a little bigger or smaller than the other.
The scarf skirt looked perfect... I wouldn't even know. This video is still so stylish and lovely ❤😍 checking your insta now cuz I finally have one this year!
I vote Yay! On the scarf skirt. Women lose most body heat through hips and bum so very smart actually. I am starting to make sweater skirts for Winter season for this very reason. Love your videos!
Thx for this nice video. I think not all the tips would work for me, I prefer to wear simple outfits more than stylish or fashionable. Though I really want to try some of your tips - as upgrading with accesoires like a belt or jewelery to make my simple wardrobe suitable for a dinner or party. This is so great when I have to feed and diaper the toddler and run out of time. I don't need to change, and think OMG what should I wear? I can simply upgrade the outfit i was wearing through the day.... Ant the wardrobe sharing, I LOVE IT. Me and my hubby share some pullovers and jackets already since a long while. Like this we get soooo many colours to choose from!
Jenny, I must know where you purchased that perfect black ribbed turtleneck! It's essential for fall and I"m having trouble finding one that's good quality. Love your videos :)
so peeps, who would be the dream person to share a wardrobe with !?
i'm gonna have to say ......... tilda swinton.
David Bowie!
I’ve always said I’m going to change my style into one like Dianne Keaton’s overnight when I hit a certain age. Not sure what age that is, per se.. but it’s going to happen!!

It would have been Audrey Hepburn.
Elle Fanning and Sarah Harris (british vogue)

Oh, I am not alone! I love the look of men in kilts and skirts! The style is so bold and chic.
super dramatic right ?
@@JennyMustard Yes! And in skirts one feels so free 🌬
Your style is so unique and beautiful, i love it
I vote Yay! On the scarf skirt. Women lose most body heat through hips and bum so very smart actually. I am starting to make sweater skirts for Winter season for this very reason. Love your videos!
Awhhhhh such a cute video! And yesss to kilts!
I LOVE the aesthetic in this video!😍
Jenny, I must know where you purchased that perfect black ribbed turtleneck! It's essential for fall and I"m having trouble finding one that's good quality. Love your videos :)
I'm always cold too (I have Raynaud's) and I love all your styling tips, and your aesthetic in general
Im so happy she has her brows back!
Hello. Have been watching your videos for awhile. I love your style and simplicity. Can you suggest a simple wardrobe appropriate for women 60 and up?
