Yeah the poor guy went through hell after the violent murder of his wife and yet all his critics can do is criticize the guy for trying to move on with his life. Selena wouldn't have wanted Chris to hover around and sink into further depression. Obviously he should have given himself more time but he has two beautiful children so life happens. Time waits for no one. The good thing about all this is that the family learned to move forward in their endeavors. My prayer is that they continue to.

This rendition of "Cien Anos" is superb! To take a traditional song and reinterpret it with such soul is a wonderful example why Selena was skilled above her peers. Her vibrato was always flawless and her tone rich and warm.

That was one of the cool things about Selena - she wouldn't only perform in the bigger towns just to get as much money as she could. Unlike most of today's artists, she wasn't just about the money. She was passionate about what she did, and truly loved her fans, not just their money.

I totally agree with you it's so sad and like you I can't believe Selena was taken away so senseless. I wish I found out about her way earlier then I did because I probably would've been able to meet her. I see Selena and listen to her voice and I'm totally mesmerized like I'm hearing an angel sing. It's unbelievable.

I know omgosh I was literally about to comment bout that. Her voice is so fresh...no one in her family really knew just how gifted she was vocally. I mean I don't think anyone really did tbh. It's crazy how when she sings it's almost too perfect. No strain no struggle. She's relaxed and sings effortlessly. Its beautiful.
