I just discovered Godivas Secret Wigs!!! Such gorgeous wigs and you carry large size wigs is a fabulous array of styles!!!! Your wigs are pricier than what I am used to paying, but they look so natural and the color choices are wonderful !!! I just realized that where I live my hairdresser charges me $70 for a haircut and of course I tip her and the gal who washes my hair. So that's half the price of one of your wigs!!!!! And that cut only lasts 2 months!!!! Hmmm...I believe I just justified buying two wigs!!!! lol

I really wish the lighting over you was brighter so we could see the colors better. I like a golden blonde with highlights but it is hard to tell which of the blonde colors fall into that catagory. I love watching your videos!

Yes, ditto, or by a window or with a daylight bulb to see the true colors. Color is almost more important than style, at least for me, being older.

I am really confused about wig colors because the almond spice truly shows as an ashy brown which I keep searching for! Reds are not for me ever! Please consider a light just above you but you look fab in all of them!. I’m trying so hard to decide on one. I’m gray now but not ready for gray wig yet. Do most wigs have heavy highlights/faux dark roots bc it is supposed to look more natural? Or just a current style. Some people prefer a natural single color.

Actually, most of the woven highlights on our wig colors are tried and true colors that a majority of women around the world love to wear and have their own hair dyed to. In fact, many of our clients take the wig or hairpiece they love to their hairdresser and say "Please make my color the same as this wig. I love it!" Some clients do prefer a very subtle color blend, and we do have those too! Most of our wigs come with a choice - with the root look, or without the rooted look. It's your choice, there is no wrong answer. It's just what you like, but I have to say it's lots of fun to not feel restricted to just one color! Hope this helps! Rochelle

Two questions: How can I bring down the shine? Can I hand tease to add fullness if needed?
Hello! You can bring down the shine, by using a very small amount of baby powder or talcum powder and gently brushing it through the hair fibers with your fingers. Regarding the fullness, you can definitely add some teasing into the wig if you need to. Always be gentle with this as overtime it can damage the hair fibers.

We don't suggest using curling irons, flat irons or blow dryers with your high quality synthetic wigs. The extreme heat can damage the fibers. However, you can safely use the "Hot Air" brush brushwww.godivassecretwigs.com/1-hot-air-brush/ on your wigs. *The Hot Air brush is temperature controlled to never be too hot or cause damage. You can also use hot rollers as long as they are cool enough to hold in the palm of your hands. Thank you!

Looking for wigs that look like my hair: natural wave, loose has curl, straightens easy with hot brush. Wigs look too straight although beautiful. People who know me seem to look for my 'signature loose natural wave that will curl in any direction yet goes straight on day 2'. Major hair loss has me searching for what can look natural for me. How can you make sure the wigs do not come off accidently? What if someone comes up and starts feeling your "hair" while saying they love your cut, lol. Or what about high winds? I really worry about this part. I have never worn wigs before but my hair has been changing textures for the past 2 years and has gotten a really damaged dry and frizzy look. I have always had straight thick coarse hair. Now for some reason it looks fried!
+FreeDove McDove The easiest way to keep the wigs from moving at all is by sewing Metal Wig Clips into them. We have a video that shows how to do that as well :) Just 2 metal clips in the front and even if someone pulls on the wig, it won't go anywhere!
+FreeDove McDove Hi again wanted to share that Godiva's Secret Wigs also has a video on UA-cam.com called "Wind and Wigs" and shows how the wig stays on. They also now have a "wig Grip" band and there are videos on that thru GSW too. Enjoy!
