I have the same sentiment vanilla animations are perfect I just want slightly faster combat and I want to remove those awkward pauses between swings I found one called flashier fights that addresses this issue it speeds up attack blocking and staggered animations but it adds so much things I don't want
So much swag in that finisher. Strikes and ends up in a favorable position to immediately start healing himself.

Yeah all the spinning moves are incredibly unrealistic, unnecessary and really harm the tone of the game.
