Tampa Police Officer Jesse Madsen gave his life stopping a drunk and stoned wrong way driver.
Great idea thankful for someone thinking, Was and awful feeling when headlights are coming towards you, Stay safe
Why wouldn't they put the device that punctures tires if you go up the wrong way on the ramp. That would seem a whole lot cheaper and work in an instant.
0:32 Wow she doesnt look drunk at all, go figure
Oh yeah this happens alot! Last time i was at state line. Specifically primm, nv. I was taking the exit to get to the flying j/pilot truck stop at around 1:30 am pst. When i entered the off ramp i noticed a car making a u-turn at the intersection. Well it became apparent that it was no u-turn! The dang driver turned left to jump on the interstate! What a ding bat i thought. I gotta do something other than honk my air horn and flash my lights! So both me and my cb radio friend blocked the drunk drivers path. Me and this guy ive been chatting to were both driving big rigs. So blocking was pretty easy. After about 10 minutes the drunk man (probably from the uk) realized he couldn't make it past so he made another (thank goodness) u-turn! But i see this stuff at least 6 or 8 times a year!
You don’t need fancy tech if you have good signage and a good road layout.
We are at sign overload already.
Clearly still wasted during the mugshot
So stupid!!!! Clover leaf interchanges are 70+ years old, and it's almost impossible to enter them the wrong way! No traffic lights, needed and they offer a constant flow of traffic. NJ/NY have the most densely populated areas in the country... they use clover leaf and jug handle interchanges, no left turns, no U turns, and they handle 10x the traffic 100x more safely then Tampa.
There are not nearly enough of those overhead signs to warn drivers of a vehicle approaching at over 100 mph closing speed.
There should be red lights on milemarkers that start flashing to warn traffic that a dangerous situation is ahead or approaching so they can be aware or get off the roadway.
Illegal immigrant behind the wheel.
That's a lot of money to spend in order to idiot proof roadways. How about keeping idiots from driving in the first place?
NYS has had this technology since 1999. Florida has been asleep at the wheel for YEARS!!
They waited for all the ignorant Yankees to get here first!
I suggest you go back to Yankeeville.
Is this woman an immagrent?
My very first thought.
Could she be 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th generation of migrant parents?
Do you use the spell check feature?
Immigrant only applies to the first gen. In my opinion 1st through 3rd gen should be deported asap!!!
@@cracka420100 If they came in illegaly hell yeah.
Florida doesn't like to spend money on projects and policies that can actually help its citizens.
