I had a 1.89 minecraft world on the ps4 legacy version that I didn't convert to bedrock before 2.18 so when I finally converted it the world was overitten and just loaded like a new seed. Thanks to this video I can finally see that world again :)
Edit: Nvm think it was just a bug but still nice video cause I liked Ps4 edition version 1.89 the most so glad I can go back to that version of the game.
5:55 also if you right click the picture of the game and open image in new tab, the address of the image will give you this exact info and you don't have to do a search.

Can you explain better this point: you do a backup of your trophies and settings and so on, then restore Jose backup and this will clear all your trophies and settings so you will have to reinstall games from your retail discs again. So is there any way to retrieve the trophies back while keeping the two auto install pkgs? If I restore my previous backup I imagine I will loose the Jose's pkgs.
You can’t lose trophies I honestly wanted to on Minecraft for the ps4 just to get them again but the trophies are linked to your account

@@EvilResidentoff Yes, my PS4 is not jailboroken and has the latest official update. I had no problems and haven’t have any issue with Sony as far as being banned. It can all be done offline once you have the program and update files you want to downgrade to.

It is better to look for the region code of the physical games on the disc instead of the cover, some games differ in relation to the code of the cover and the disc, I have WWE 2k19 and the code of the cover does not exist in Orbis Patcher.

Strange that the updates are broken down into 4gb chunks! Sounds like they were made for a FAT32 memory stick which is obviously the maximum they can handle 🤔
Thank you, for what its worth, i have done that and can confirm that it will work with FW 10.01. I have encountered one problem, if i revert back to my own saved profile, all applications and updates are gone. Is there a way to use this method with own account?

Could this work to do an offline install for the single player campaign of CoD Cold War? I have been testing which CoD games install from disc and are playable, completely offline when inserting the disc. Interested to know if WWII, Modern Warfare 2019, Cold War, etc can become offline functional for their single player campaigns. Currently these only work offline after the campaign is installed from internet. How about for PS5? Thank you for all you do.

@@malikawan2917 start the game then exit, copy the savegame to the usb then see video above (and before deleting files from usb open folders and you will see the cusa code).

Yes it will work just fine on any firmware so long as it's a firmware that has the backup and restore options in the settings. It will not get you banned. Auto Pkg Install is just a system app that's been renamed.

@@travis6965 But to maybe answer your question - if your restore file is only 16 mb then maybe you didn't put the merged update patch from orbis in the "pkg" folder on your thumb drive

I managed to update Shadow of War but I downloaded an older Days Gone update due to it being under 32GB (my thumb drive size) and I couldn't get the merger program to do anything to the files. At this point I think I may focus on his new videos and finally jailbreak my ps4 pro!
@@JV-tk9yn I ordered a 64gb thumb drive off Amazon for $4 and have transferred files over 40GB with it being formatted to exfat. And for the merger did you put the piece in a new folder labeled input? I had an issue with merger not working and it was due to there not being enough storage on my MacBook. I deleted files and the GTA 1.38v update (39GB) downloaded and installed like a charm.
I download the update file with same region as my disc but auto package won't detecting the update file

In order to use this, it requires that I update the firmware. I am on 6.72 so that's a no go for me now until there is a stable jailbreak on a higher firmware. And no, 7.55 is not stable as of now. The 9.00 webkit exploit could be promising.
Hey So with some fustrating testing. If you delete the whole game . Download the base pkg ...and then use ps4 patch builder for the update and then install it .. it will not download with giving an error because its not the latest firmware..hope this helps
What is your device and is required to put the hard drive when you restore files?!

A contribution; it's simpler to see the CUSA of a game without registering in the store. You just have to look for the game in the store and the url appears CUSA.
I prefer to install the updates from the pc emulating the official servers, it's simpler and faster
And you don't need to merge pkgs.
Yes that's a simpler method but I didn't show that as sometimes if the game in the store changes because they remove it and replace it with a newer edition like a "game of the year" version etc then it will be the wrong title id. Or if you are using the store while on a VPN from another country you will get the wrong version in the store. Logging in and viewing your own library is the best way to be sure what the correct Title ID is.
I did a video on the server spoofing method also. I would argue this method is a better all round solution as I recall you still need to be on the latest firmware to use the spoofing server method. Otherwise the PS4 will request a system update if you're on a lower firmware.

Also I have a Ghost Recon Breakpoint original PS4 disc which I was playing on my PS5. but recently a PS5 firmware update has come out and the game asks to login to PSN for playing which requires installing latest firmware. I want to avoid installing the latest firmware, how can i keep playing the game without updating firmware. (I had PSN logged in on my PS5 before the update came out)

Not working bro. Am on 8.50 did everything as per video. After running Auto PKG installer it gives error as shown on video and nothing happens. Kept the PS4 running for about 2 hours without doing anything. Game not updating
Really cool but this actually seems harder than the netcat and server method. IIRC, that doesn't need to be jailbroken either...but I haven't done it in about a year so I can't 100% recall.
