Nice pickups! Blades of Steel is legendary! I remember playing that back in the day and getting in fights on the ice ring was the best part!
Thanks dude! Blades of Steel got so much okay for me as a kid. I know some folks like Ice Hockey on the NES but for me it was always Blades and throwing fists with my buddies. 🤣

Not too many switch games that I am gonna pass up for $10. I never seem to get lucky with Walmart clearance though. 🤣 I still need to track down Fear 2 & 3 but I really liked the first game. Figured I probably wouldn’t see this one again if I passed it up. Loving Split Second! 🍻

Times of Lore is one that I've never really heard of... I'm always surprised by games on the NES that I've never seen before.

Nice dude! I actually picked up a huge stack of 2600 games on Valentine’s Day at a thrift shop. February pickups ! 😉 I haven’t played Nioh yet but it looks fantastic. That blades of steel red label makes that game pop, never knew that existed. There's alot of uncommon games on the nes that I've never seen before, even at conventions. Nice pickups man!
Oh yeah dude! It does. 🤙🏻 The red label was a later release on the system. I am pretty sure it was the only game released by them on the NES with the Konami Classic Series variant. Had some good finds in January for sure! Appreciate you stopping by as always buddy.
Bro!! the amount of paperwork they included in the genesis baseball game vs. not even knowing if the Wii U game came with any paperwork speaks volumes!! Crazy the difference. nice pickups bro!!
The game manufacturers really used to make it all about the presentation…it’s a shame now how we get nothing with newer games unless you pay a crap load extra for a special edition. Thanks for the love my friend. Hope you are doing well.🍻🤙🏻

I should do more of that. Feels like every time I break out the camera beforehand I never find anything worth recording…except for my April 2022 pickups vid. I did find the PlayStation motherload and got it on film. 🤣 Best find I ever had…I will try to remember to record more before I check out at the stores and include a bit in the vids. Holy Crap another pick up vid!!! Man, the amount of extras that old EA gave us Genesis gamers back in the day...I have found some nice labels on Etsy and Wish in the past.
I am the pickup king!!! 🤣 What can I say…the hunt calls me…🤷♂️ EA really killed it with this baseball game! Honestly would be a special edition copy nowadays to get those stat cards. Such a lost art…I will check Etsy and Wish out. I have never been on Wish before. Thanks dude.🤙🏻

It’s a blessing and a curse to be honest. 🤣 I like to collect for all consoles I have but the space is becoming a premium and I really should try and focus on the ones I am chasing full sets on. It’s hard to pass up a good deal though. 🤷♂️

I did manage to track down some decent ones for the NES set for sure. The Star Trek The Next Generation game is terrible! 🤣 There is another based on the classic series for the NES and I have heard it’s actually a good game. I will definitely give my assessment when I finally track it down. 🍻

EA really put a lot into their manuals.
Hard not to be impressed with the extras on that baseball game. The boxes, manuals and extras that all used to be free with the game…It honestly was a thing of beauty. Nowadays that would have been a special edition…and you still would have to wait an hour to download the rest of the game. 🤣

I like the concept of Mercari but you are correct. I believe I have never seen a game listing for less than $1. But the way they allow you to make offers on bundles is pretty sweet! 🤙🏻

Dude, _Wreckfest_ might be one of my Top Three favorite racing games of all time! The damage effects in that game are a lot of fun!
Also, heard good things about _Split Second,_ though I’ve never played it. You’re a stunt driver in that one, I believe (though I could be wrong 😅).

I am in MD about 3 hrs from Philly area. Killer brew from Funk brewing. I had to look up where Emmaus was though. 🤣 I have had a few comments say how much fun Wreckfest is. I am gonna open it up and check it out over the next few days. Split Second is pretty freakin’ great though! Definitely check it out. 🤙🏻
Great month of pickups Josh, although the highlight absolutely has to be getting dragon warrior for 60 bucks!!!! We had to remind ourselves that's American and not Canadian dollars 😂😂😂

Thanks dude! I have heard that the other Star Trek game on the NES is actually decent. When I finally track a copy down I will let everyone know my thoughts. This one really made no sense to me at all and seemed a bit boring. I like the first two TV shows mostly because my dad was a big fan. 🤙🏻

Haha. I know right. Switch never seems like it gets deep discounts. I have also had numerous comments say Wreckfest is pretty bad assed. I am gonna open it up and give it a go soon. Split Second is awesome! Stoked to have had that one recommended! I am getting closer on the NES. Still have a lot of dough to spend to get there though. 🤣
As someone who represents the half of people who stuck around I just have to say A great pick up video Josh and it's funny because my Dad Said exactly the same thing to me as a kid, I will play games when you can play them on a HoloDeck 😂😂😂

Very tasty beer dude! Been awhile since I had a porter and this one was definitely good as advertised. All that was missing was a lawn chair next to the campfire. I know it’s not as fun picking up games in the wild but Mercari is a solid way to find some titles you don’t see around. Let me guess which ones you didn’t have…🤔 Times of Lore, Star Trek the Next Generation and F117A Stealth fighter. 🤣

That’s why I do like a Mercari. Getting the bundle offers in usually makes the price a lot more reasonable. Was able to add some good stuff to the set for sure. 🤙🏻 I love the N64 and PS1 but it just felt like everyone made games in 3D back then because it was the new thing and so many games could have benefited from not doing that. 🤷♂️ I am excited to get into Wreckfest. Many comments today about how great a game it is! Appreciate you checking the pickups out my friend. 🤙🏻🍻

@@DrinkGameswithJosh Best time to grab PS3 games is indeed right now bro' the games are cheap and the Disc's being Blu-Ray are generally scratch free, I know a place that sells pretty much every game used but complete for £3 or less, I got Need for Speed Hot Pursuit, Skyrim, Sniper Elite III for under £10 and Assassin's Creed Revelations' for £1, I might pay a visit today and grab a whole bunch, then shove them away in a box and wait a few years hopefully forgetting what I purchased and have a hoot playing some new/old titles.

I love a good pickup video fo’ sho’! So I don’t care. I was just bustin some balls. I do what I want to on this little channel. No corporate sponsors here telling me what to do. Someone said The Punisher would have made a much cooler light gun game and they are right. It’s not a bad game but they could have did a lot better. The label art though is bad assed like you would expect from the character! The Star Trek Next Generation game blows big time though. 😂

Love blades of steel - still my favorite Hockey game, lot's of great pick ups here a nice variety! Spider-Man and X-Men i remember i asked my parents for a Spider Man game and i also wanted the X-Men game (separate games), i am sure my parents were happy to find Arcades revenge because it satisfied both requests and i was surprised when i got it because i didn't even know it existed its an alright game i probably like it more for nostalgia purposes
It’s still my favorite hockey game too! Used to play it a lot with my buddy as a kid! Always got animated when the gloves came off! That’s a great story about Spider-Man/X-men! Your parents were probably like…heck yeah! Two birds! 🤣
Great pickups as usual, do you know what I would like to see on your channel? I would like to see your process for game hunting. I go to stores, and hit up flea markets but, I never find anything close to your haul. Someone told me to go check out antique stores which has been mildly successful, but I would have never thought to check out those by myself. I do have to say you got me to look at Mercari and I’m not disappointed! Micro Machines is Decent, but it doesn’t have that same NES feel. Blades of steel is a great game!
Thanks dude! You are the second person today who said they want more hunting footage. I will try to incorporate more of it into these pickup videos. I wanted to do that a long time back but I felt like whenever I hit record prior to hitting the thrift store I never found anything. I need to remember to record the games in the shop before I pick them up. That could make some nice drop in video. To be sure though I found when I would go to the thrifts all the time I would more frequently find things. Work gets in the way. 🤣 I check out the antique malls from time to time in my area with some success at times. I really only have one pawn shop near home that was giving me decent deals but haven’t been up since before Christmas. I have one thrift that is a local chain that seems to be my best place like that. Mercari is sweet being able to make offers on bundles. You can usually get a little better deal that way on the games and combined shipping too so well worth it. I agree about Micro Machines 64 it’s ok but just doesn’t hit like you would expect…especially if you enjoyed the NES game.

I figured for $3 and change Nioh was worth a roll of the die. Punisher is fun but nothing amazing. Would have been cooler as a light gun game. Couldn’t resist DW3 for that price. Do people not like pickups videos? I enjoy them because it feels like more of a casual sit down and chat about games. I really wish the NES punisher worked with the zapper. Try as I might I cannot get into Atari games. I appreciate everything the company did for video games. Are you currently going for full NEs and N64 sets at the same time?

I may start trying some new things with them though to keep them fresh. You are right about the Punisher. It would have made a perfect zapper game. The cursor/dpad is a bit of a pain in the butt. 🤣 It’s still not a terrible game though. Much worse on the system. I really only pickup Atari if it’s dirt cheap, but I totally understand where you are coming from. It was the first system I played at home and I have some love for it but not anywhere near the level of the NES of later systems. Yes I am going for full sets on both at the same time! 🙏🏻 Pray for me. 😂 I am much closer to the end of the N64 than the NES though. I need like 80ish to finish it.

Gotta love a good clickbait title right? 🤣 I have been trying to hunt down as much NES as my wallet allows. It’s not as fun as finding games while out hunting but Mercari is a great way to get some better pricing on a bundle of games. Happy to have gotten all these in the collection now. Uhoh…is that what the kids are calling that nowadays. 😳
