Excellent results! Ray is a proper old skool radio man with loads of knowledge and experience. I also enjoyed your FM bandscan at your location in Ireland, plenty of stations coming in well there. 73s and best regards from England.
Back in the early days of the old (illegal) AM CB radio I made myself an indoor antenna in my loft out of a car aerial, bits of wire and an old Quality Street tin 😂 Worked a treat 👍
Hi. ojnoj excellent video on the aerial , Rays is very good there is one electronics engineer who has a UA-cam channel called electronics old and new by M Caldeira this guy is a perfectionist when it comes to restoration of vintage German radios , Thanks keep up the good work and it might be a good idea to bring a little glamour into the videos The Lady of the house should bring you a Cupp every now and then ,
Hi. John Joe just run across your channel just a week ago love your videos yes that is a nice aerial idea for fm indeed I take it that you are a member of Ray's channel alone he also has a lot of radio knowledge just like yourself. Keep up the good work
New subscriber here! I love the idea of this. I too live in a small block, so there is no chance of me rigging up an 11m CB antenna, so this has intrigued me! I will be giving this a go! Many thanks indeed Ojnoj, great channel 👍🍻
You explained it perfectly without any faff or waffle... simple little aerial for any band you like.
Thanks George!

Great stuff. Hope it works out for ya!
Hmm might have a go at that. Nice vid.
Must be the cheapest aerial you can construct.
Excellent idea and the online calculator takes all the math out of designing your own.
Exactly, no headache for ojnoj!!
Nice idea!
Thanks Mr. Moo.
Hi ojnoj.i was given a realistic 200 channel scanner would your antenna work for this
You would need to cut it to the frequency you're interested in.
just made one and works very well for what it is even using 50ohm coax RG58 it worked fine... give it a try.
I liked this channel but now I’ve seen you’re using Microsoft edge as a browser I’m going to have to unsubscribe and delete my UA-cam account 😄
My IT dept. is working in it...
