Apparently if you went underground it would skip ahead 2 or 3 surface screens and that was the only way you could accomplish all screens in 20 minutes. I know I never succeeded. I don't think pitfall 2 had a time limit so maybe it never had an end... seems like I could find a safe spot and eat lunch then continue, until I died. Never made it to any end on pitfall 2 either.

I remember that advertisement, I didn't know Jack from Jack back then, but I do remember playing Pitfall. Oh video games sure have come along way since then. I bet Jack Black never thought as a child that he would actually become character in a video game.
