- This is a boss specially made for Bloodborne PSX which is not in the original Bloodborne, an existing character named Gilbert who aids the Hunter by giving them the Flamesprayer, part of his story here is that he was administered with a special blood unbeknownst to him which would transform him into a beast, he feared something wrong was happening, and left a note for the Hunter to find, with a request for the Hunter to kill him, for he feared he was about to become a beast, this is why he is found strapped down on a hospital bed, which he did himself before turning; and this is his boss fight.
Bloodborne PSX is a Demake of the Original PS4 Title Bloodborne.

It is not a full game demake, the demake ends after killing Father Gascoigne, then the demake takes its own original turn, and has you fight your way back through the town to reach Gilberts house, all while being chased by nearly invincible and horrifying Mind Flayer enemies which only appear in this section of the game, upon making your way back to gilberts house, you confront the final boss, which is something special and amazing to behold.
I’m surprised at how naturally it feels to play this demake once you think of controlling it like an early PS1 game
Really disappointed they decided to remove this boss from the PS4 remake.

This design of gilbert is way better than that of the original bloodborne, because it is original instead of gilbert being a random old yarnam beast
Gilbert deserved a design like since he was quite a special character
it makes more sense to be a random yarnam beast, but for the fanservice i wish he had been a boss
Funfact there's a boss in bloodborne called trapped souls here's how to find it first go to room of despair go to Roms head revive the queen go to her with milkweed ruin trade he some blood then go to old yharmen go to secret room go find charred hunter outfit then go to yharmen with level 100 go to Gilbert he will tell you about a secret place behind yharmen go over by father Gascoigne then touch the gravestone then suddenly a boss shows up behind you

Have only gotten the opportunity to play a little bit of Bloodborne on PS4, and haven't yet tried out this demake.
When I heard about this boss fight, I actually thought for a second it was a real bloodborne boss fight and not just a demake exclusive fight.
The fact that I believed this was a real boss fight is really just a testament to the skill of the dev behind Bloodborne PSX.

I can't believe a supposed ''Demake'' did this five hundred times better than the original.
This fight is actually a bit more fun when you face him head on, instead of throwing the knives and Molotov at him.
It's more dramatic and a bit more cooler in my experience.
I tried doing that before resorting to kiting him, but I died a few times, im not that good honestly haha, I dare say i am bit of a cheeser
For this game be a better PSX game it only misses the awful camera angle lol but besides that it captures perfectly everything from that era

where to find the key to fight him?
they key is on the dining room table, you can get up there via a plank on the other end of the room- but beware once you get the item, a good scare will indeed prevail!

You do need to go around the whole table by going through the outside door below the 2nd floor door stairs then you have to find a grey block and jump onto it and use that to hoist yourself up.
