What you have to share is so real. Coming from your personal experience, it is so much more helpful than stuff from a doctor or book. This really helps. Thank you for taking the time to make this! You are helping a lot of people!!! Keep it up!!!
I was a teen in the late 70's/early 80's. Anxiety was not talked about nor did I even understand what it was. I just thought I was a secret social misfit. Nobody knew I was feeling the way I was. I was miserable so I did what the only thing I knew to do which was what everyone else was doing which was drink and drug. I only wish I had the knowledge and tools that we have now. I wasted so much of my life not present. It's sad but I don't dwell on that. I am so glad you have made all of this progress. It's huge! Thanks for sharing!
Thank you!!! I know what you saying is absolutely true. Practice is what I need to do. Right now I have chronic anxiety, which I haven't had for 50 some odd years.. non stop...
hi! I just found your videos over the weekend and I really enjoy them. I appreciate your openness and self reflection. I'm also very interested in van living, so I'm researching that. I'm not clear on your connection issues, but I have found a lot of meditation videos here on UA-cam that I listen to every night and it has really helped me. Keep the videos coming! :) safe travels!
Amazing that you took the time of day just to try and help other people out of the pain you hate experiencing. Very selfless and brave. Glad this is helping you out, I appreciate hearing it
Thanks for sharing. Very wise info. I agree meditation is extremely important -- and not to get judgmental about how "good" I am, for example how long I go with a thought entering my head. Those are the times that I can refocus my mind and literally train my brain away from that which is creating anxiety.
Good stuff man! Been hard into your videos lately, my girlfriend are planning on getting an Astro and touring Canada. You've been a big help/inspiration
I've been struggling with social anxiety for years. I think a lot of us (myself included) put off making ourselves better today because our thought-process is "I'll feel better about myself when X happens". But the truth is that anxiety doesn't just go away when you enter a new chapter of your life, it doesn't care if you're going to college, or starting a new job, it follows you. I love all your points, thank you for making this video it's helped me a lot. :)
I'm so glad you found it helpful, thanks for the great feedback. You make some very good points! Waiting for something to feel better has never worked for me either. It's all about the now!
@@lamarsavage173 There is a solution to every problem only if we make some effort. For relief from anxiety sit on a chair or on the ground with back erect and do the simple alternate nostril breathing meditation if possible twice a day for 5-10 minutes. This reprogrames the mind. Watch the videos on You tube to see how it is done. It is very simple. Negative thoughts will slowly reduce. Make meditation a daily habit and enjoy life. I Shyaaam Sir-Mentor-Counselor.
Thank you so much. You deserve the best in life. I recommend the book 5 Second Rule by Mel Robbins. Now that you figured out this trick, I hope that you enjoy life at its fullest. thank you so so so much ♥️

I'm not sure if it was a phobia. It didn't feel like life or death, but it made me very anxious and left me exhausted. The more I do it the easier it becomes. Sorry I can't give you a more direct answer, does that help?
